“Excellent stay in Playa del Carmen”
+Very kind and helpful host. Close to supermarket and bus station. Free coffee and filtered water. Having both a fan and AC helped with the hot weather.
−Everything was fine!

“Comfortable, air conditioned, large and hospitable stay in playa del Carmen”
+Amazing large room with comfortable bed, great air conditioning and bathroom. Also with coffee to enjoy in the morning on the lovely colourful patio. Rafael the owner was excellent to communicate with, let me check in early, stay late and also store my bag for a while on my final day. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, especially if you’re a solo (equally great as a couple as bed is huge) for exploring playa del Carmen. Added bonus is large supermarket/general store close by to stock up on anything you need.
−Nothing

+Rafael and his wife were super friendly. The location is absolutely great! 5min walk from the bus station, 2 min walk to the supermarket and 15 min from the beach. The room is huge and clean. The rooster gave the place personality

“Received a warm welcome! Comfortable homely apartment in a good location.”
+Pretty terrace filled with flowers. Coffee and filtered water available in the communal area. Comfortable bed. Great vegan restaurant in the next street and close to supermarkets if you want to self cater.

“Highly recommended if you want to experience a more authentic Mexican culture.”
+Hosts were super friendly. We felt at home with them the entire time and they treated us like family. They even arranged the cab when we left and gave us snacks for the plane ride home. Area was safe and conveniently located near grocery stores and restaurants. Beach is a 10 minute walk away. Close enough to walk to activities on Fifth Avenue but far enough away to be quiet. Place was clean and comfortable.
−Liked everything about it.

“GREAT stay, not an apartment”
+The hosts were awesome. Always responsive. Always trying to make you feel comfortable. Everything I asked for, they were up to it very kindly and respectful. They even gave us fresh eggs to taste Room was very clean Bathroom was really nice A/C works great and there is also a fan Very big closets to store stuff
−This is NOT an apartment. It is a big room with 2 beds. A small kitchenette with one stove, a small fridge and very little room for anything else... We used the ironing board as a table to put some daily stuff because there is no other place to do it. It is more like an hotel room than an apartment per se. Also there is one cat wondering around outside all the time and a a few chickens outside making noise in the morning. Despite all that, the vibe of the hosts and their hospitality made us feet very welcome.
