−I usually don't write comments on booking accommodations, but in this case I have to. First thing to say - the communication with the owner was good, she was nice. But....when I booked it, there was the wrong location and wrong photos (the owner has more than one accommodation in booking) - that's why I booked it, so it would be close to the beach (this one is not). So the arriving there was a big fail (when I told her about it, she delete the wrong photos from booking). The place itself was clean, but it is so old, that you are afraid to touch anything so it won't fall of. The water in the shower was really hard to make it run warm/hot. And the energy in the flat was terrible, we really did not felt good at all in it. I am really sorry to write this, but it was just a big disappointment.

+Lovely placem, unfortunately tainted by a bad experience. *Continued on from what we didn't like* Sara kept repeating 'this has never been a problem before', but we're guessing other guests arrived earlier in the day, and may have been met by the hosts brother who could show them the specific way to open the door. Either way, this is a business, and she should have accepted that with any business, it is not all profit, but there will be issues you have to deal with. She did not, but refused to accept it, and tried to make out we were idiots who could not open a door. I have travelled extensively (we all have) and dealt with many types of locks. None of us are weak or stupid but this was the impression she seemed to have of us, placing all the blame on us. I have never had such a bad experience travelling, and thus, despite the place being lovely to stay in, I could not recommend it. The host had no sympathy and therefore I have no respect for her, as she showed us none, and no compassion. So disappointing. We had to accept only one nights refund (which I doubt she would have offered if I did not ask for it), though I believe something extra should have been given. We were afraid of
−We had a horrible experience. Arrived late at night due to a late flight. We had told the hosts in advance this would be the case. Couldn't access the accomodation as the door had a knack that we couldn't figure out, despite trying for about an hour, and attempting to contact the host (there was no answer). We had to find accomodation elsewhere in the middle of the night, as we were vulnerable (3 young girls, obvious tourists with our bags, with nowhere to stay overnight), and had to ring at least 20+ hotels before finding anywhere to stay so last minute. When we contacted the host the next morning, there was no answer (I had also left a message overnight), but got a call from the host AFTER I contacted booking.com. This was about 11am, so late considering our issue. My main issue was that this was a safety issue, and it wasn't taken seriously by the host. She asked us why we didn't call her (we did, multiple times), and asked why we didn't call her 2nd number (no 2nd number was provided!). I heard laughing when I told her how serious it was that we couldn't get into the apartment in the middle of the night, and we could have been elderly, or vulnerable in any way. Sara (the host)

+Cercanía a Lisboa, Cascais y Sintra. Casa bien equipada y con aire acondicionado en las habitaciones. Aparcamiento enfrente de la casa. Atención de Sara, dando recomendaciones sobre las actividades en la zona.

“Estancia perfecta”
+Ubicación excelente para visitar la zona de Estoril-Cascais-Lisboa-Sintra, barrio muy tranquilo sin ruido ninguno, parking en la puerta de la casa, a pocos minutos de estación de tren para moverse por la zona sin necesidad de vehículo. A la casa no le falta de nada, es cómoda, acogedora, muy limpia y con centro comercial a pocos minutos andando. Daniel y Sara excelentes anfitriones, tuvimos un pequeño problema con una lámpara y en pocos minutos estuvieron allí para solucionarlo.
