+Excellent location, especially for events like Azores Ultra Blue Trail. Everything is close by. Spacious, bright apartment with all essentials. Nice lighting, good furniture, well designed and welcoming overall. Good bathroom and cooking space. Nice inner courtyard with sky views. Quiet area overall. Waste sorting available. Strong reliable water heater.
−Bedroom under the roof can get warm with windows closed, and with windows open there may be mosquitoes.

“Spotless, comfortable house in a great location”
+This fabulous location, very central, was perfect for our New Year’s stay. There was a nearby café for those needing an espresso or two in the morning. The house was clean and well-equipped, with a kitchen and bathroom that were both spotless. (On the plus side, the host even provided a complimentary wine bottle.) Since it was winter, we didn’t use the back patio (which would have been great in the summer), but we did use the laundry machine in the back. It worked well. The room was upstairs, which wasn’t a problem for us, but it might be an issue for older people or those with reduced mobility. The bed was a queen, which was a bit smaller than we prefer (we have a king at home), but the mattress was comfortable for our more than a week stay.
−We didn’t have any complaints. The heater was broken, but the hosts provided a smaller one that worked well the same day. We would have enjoyed an extra comfy chair nearby the sofa (which would make the resting room more pleasant) and a credenza to keep some stuff on the go.

+The apartment is located in the heart of town. It is light, well appointed and comfortable. We loved sitting outside on the private patio. We enjoyed cooking meals. There is a sizable grocery market within a short drive. Great location for evening walks! Great host,very accommodating. Good instructions
−I am very tall (200cm) and the where the bedroom ceiling slopes it was a little low for me very but manageable.

“Exceptional”
+We will stay in Dabneys apartment every time we visit Faial from now on. The apartment and facilities were exceptional and everything we could have ever asked to have a wonderful family vacation. The place is design in a very efficient and clean way which makes the stay with a child really easy. Very close to everything you need from the port, restaurants and bank. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. Thank you once again!!!

“Loved staying in the heart of Horta that captured the island experience we were looking for.”
+Dabney's Studio is in a fabulous location in the heart of Horta - a block away from the harbor, cafes, and shops. It's about a ten-minute walk to the large grocery store and to the ferry. If you have a car, public parking is very close by. The apartment was bright, spacious, and clean - ideal for two people. The outdoor area is sunny and secluded - great place to have meals or drinks in the evening or relaxing during the day. You can pack light and use the washing machine then hang clothes outdoors to hang dry. Bruna, our host, responds to messages quickly.
−Just one suggestion - provide extra bed pillows.
