“Highly recommend a stay at Crooked Loft”
+We particularly liked the decor and the general ambiance of the apartment and its aspect at the top of the building and the convenience of the location of Crooked Loft in relation to the township of Rye. Everything was within a handy distance - especially Mermaid Street. We loved it!

“As charming as Rye itself”
+Very clean; good Wi-Fi; charming, unusual layout; milk and a bottle of fizz in the fridge; owner Deborah was helpful and quick to respond to enquiries; location very convenient to the train station and the high street
−Exterior and interior steps a bit daunting, particularly with a suitcase,but property description does mention this. Some very low points passing between rooms, so have to watch your head.

“Why would you stay anywhere else??”
+It’s such a hidden gem, so much character. I booked 2 nights but I could have happily stayed forever. It also stays very cool! Considering the UK has turned into a pressure cooker this year.

“A really lovely stay in a beautiful old property within walking distance of everything that we wanted to see and do!”
+Beautiful, spacious, quirky property, lovely central location, spacious and well appointed. Affordable parking nearby. Loved the history and the architecture. Sadly we didn’t experience any ghostly occurrences!
−The shower was very hard to regulate and water too hot. Quality of towels could have been better.

“Wonderful stay in Rye!”
+The flat was perfect, clean, neat, well equipped and felt well loved! We really enjoyed our stay! We loved the little balcony where we could sit and watch the world go by. We loved Rye and we loved Crooked Loft! The communications from the owner were great, too. Thanks for a wonderful stay in Rye!

“Very enjoyable. Quirky, well appointed and convenient.”
+Quirky, unexpectedly spacious with good facilities. The goodies provided were excellent and much appreciated. Once you're up and in it's a great place to be.
−If you struggle with steep, narrow stairs you should perhaps consider elsewhere. Getting ones luggage up and into the flat was the biggest challenge.

“Couldn’t have picked a better spot to explore Rye”
+Absolutely everything: the location is perfect for seeing all that the town has to offer. It’s a stone’s throw away from mermaid street and all the best pubs and restaurants (and easy to find again if you’ve had a few). The flat itself is quite charming and temptingly cosy; it’s really comfy and has everything you need for your trip. Great spot, great host, great town. We’ll definitely be coming back to stay.

+Our stay at the apartment was simply unforgettable! The space was cozy and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the view from the window and the peaceful atmosphere. A perfect place to relax and recharge!
