+Beautiful grounds, great location. Wendy couldn't do enough for us. The cottage had everything you need. Short walk into a little village with lovey pubs. Will definitely be back

+The Cowshed was perfectly clean and comfortable. The view from the bedroom window was especially lovely!
−The only thing we missed were good reading lamps near the bed or seating area.

+We loved the amount of space inside. The surrounds were beautiful and peaceful. We appreciated the attention to detail in the decor, eg; homely touches. Everywhere you looked there were novel pieces. Wendy & Mark were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. From recommending great places to eat and visit to assisting us with a flat tyre by providing their equipment to inflate it. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. The location just out of Moretonhampstead was excellent, providing easy access to the best of Dartmoor.
−There was genuinely nothing we disliked about our stay. If we were to suggest a couple of small enhancements, a power outlet in the bathroom would be convenient for guests using hairdryers or electric shavers, and a fan in the bedroom would be a welcome addition during warmer weather. These are only minor suggestions, as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

“A beautiful, roomy, comfortable countryside retreat place with wonderful hosts!”
+Undoubtedly the most comfortable, welcoming place we’ve visited in our 120 day trek through Europe and England! The guest house is roomy, well supplied, comfortable and everything one could want in a retreat space. It’s also in a beautiful wooded farmland, but not too far (a 30 minute walk to Moretonhampstead) and right on the border of an interesting area of Dartmoor. Most of all-the host family was really kind and helpful. We’d have stayed longer if we could!
