“relaxing Christmas holiday”
+we celebrated Christmas here with our 2 sons great location, overlooking the pier nice, cosy house with great maritime and christmassy decorations great kitchen with plenty of kitchen ware, glasses, mugs etc., and really everything you need for cooking also more advanced meals fireplace, good heating, house is very warm although the weather was very cold and windy good washing machine and dryer comfy beds near to beaches and sights Roundstone is a very nice village with good pubs
−in the beginning we had a problem with the living room heater but we could resolve it with the tools available in the house

“I thought that the house was excellent. It met expectations and I would recommend it.”
+No breakfast was provided but the decor and design of the house was excellent. We were vary happy with the experience and would recommend the property to anyone else who would be interested in taking a holiday in Roundstone.
−Overall the property was excellent. One area for improvement would be to get a plumber out to fix the tap fittings and pressure vessel in the hot press.

+House clean and cosy, makes you feel at home
−Don't have much to say of what I dislike, maybe house was right on the main road, without front yard, but once we got in it didn't bother us

“Should have been good but requires ongoing significant maintenance and deep cleaning.”
+The cottage is open, light and bright. The unadvertised 3rd level snug was excellent as a computer and reading room. This is the first place that I have found a Power Shower (normally called a powerless shower) that actually works. Great pressure and excellent temperature control. The heating worked well and the cottage was warm and cozy. WiFi was average speed but had excellent coverage throughout the cottage. The kitchen is well equipped. The property management company were responsive and key access was easy.
−Although parking was not an issue in winter I doubt that finding parking close by in summer would be as easy. We have been here in summer and have had to park nearly a km away. The cottage is overdue for some major maintenance. The front door jammed so two of us were required to open the door. We spent the first two days of our stay unblocking washing machine drains, replacing light bulbs and trying to get appliances working. The site pictures don't reflect the accumulation of junk, broken hoses, tables, chairs and personal rubbish scattered around the property since the photos were taken. The TV only has a few local channels and we had to organise a TV repairman to come and replace the TV remote control as the TV wasn't working when we arrived. The main oven didn't work. We were offered an alternate cottage but on inspection it was also filled with clutter. The cottage was in dire need of a deep clean. The mattress and protector were badly stained and the entire cottage was covered in a layer of dust and we had to clean the kitchen before using. I doubt that Covid guidelines are being followed for proper cleaning. It seems that the bin hadn't been emptied for some time. and the ba
