−The ONLY thing I could say is it would be better if the TV could access Netflix and other internet services apart from that absolutely no other notes.

−It was dirty the kitchen surfaces were grimy the baths especially the plugs were filthy the light switches looked like they had not been clean for a long time it smelt and there were cockroaches in the kitchen

“NOT a cosy homestay”

−Pretty much everything. This house has all the hallmarks of being a HMO (Home of Multiple Occupation), the bedrooms are numbered with locks, basic with bed and side cabinet, a shelf and a mirror. Bed linen very outdated and stained with grease, smelt strongly of fabreeze to the point that I had to attempt to sleep on the sofa (a tiny 2 seater conservatory ratten sofa) as the smell was strong and mattress v uncomfortable. Towels dated but clean. Main Bathroom - strong smell of drains, dirty sink, skirting, screws poking out walls, bath very slippy ( bath mat required), fan not working. En-suite - Shower dirty, someone's shower loofah on rack, taps incorrect on wash hand basin (hot on cold tap & cold on hot), shower rack hanging precariously with very watered down hand wash in it. This shower was not used!! Kitchen - Dirty glasses in cupboard, wet plates in cupboard, sticky handles on all doors, 1 tea towel provided with added food stuck to it. We washed everything we planned to use, which was minimal due to the state of the property. An old pizza in freezer drawer in fridge. Dirty cooker, hood. Dirty banisters, newell post, walls, floors. +The house was clean, the beds were comfortable. Location was as expected - a few minutes walk away. The on-street parking arrangements worked well and there was always space. Vinyl floors throughout, white walls, minimal furniture (nothing wrong with that!).
−Three of four bedrooms were so small that the double beds were pushed against the wall so the inside person had to scramble over the other or off the end of the bed. Kitchen was okay but looked as if it wasn't ever quite finished (plinths missing, gaps etc.) The gas cooker was questionable as the ignition didn't work and required use of a ignitor (supplied). We used the oven once which meant reaching to the back of it however reigniting it without burning oneself was unacceptable.
