“Spacious and high standard accommodation in a lovely small village with great beach”
+Great location, close to the lovely beach where you can swim and do watersports, there is a nice cafe and excellent restaurant (although expensive). The cottage is spacious and well laid out, with an exceptionally well supplied kitchen. Large garden safe for dogs. It was very quiet when we were there, just at the end of the summer season.
−Being charged for additional cleaning for one dog pee, which we had cleaned up ourselves, and owned up to the cleaner when already sorted. This was on top of additional charge for pets.

“Brilliant! Will definitely return”
+Perfect location booking again for next year. We did a fishing competition over a weekend that involved a lot of wet gear outside the house there is a lot of coat pegs making it perfect to hang and dry our kit for the following day. Really nice little place and lots of maps that helped us with the marks with access! We will definitely be back

“Pembrokshire paradise”
+Its a dream location, easy access to Dale and also walking distance from Watwick, Marloes etc... we will come back for sure.

“Weekend away”

+Dale was a lovely town with walking from the door, unspoiled by tourism. A short drive to skomer island boat launch for puffins. Just perfect for us

“Lovely stay but cottage could do with some updates”
+Kitchen is wonderfully well equipped! Basic seasonings like salt pepper cinnamon etc all provided which was a nice surprise! Living room is also lovely and spacious with plenty of seating for 5 people to relax and enjoy! we loved the outdoor table as well for a lunch in the sun! Excellent location in terms of visiting Dale, you’re just a few mins walk from the main town centre and the water which is lovely for walks, swims, or just watching the water. You can also see the water from the living room which is lovely! Great to have car parking too, and a beautiful garden to enjoy round the back. Good base for Pembrokeshire exploring and a quiet, peaceful place to sleep at night! Although it is quite far out so was minimum an hour for us to get to any tourist destinations - but we enjoy a country drive! Self check in was easy, and instructions to find the cottage also very clear.
−There is a strong musty smell in the cottage, as mentioned by another review - the windows were open when we arrived, but it was still very noticeable, so I can only assume it’s the carpets perhaps that need either a very deep clean or replacing! They do look very tired and worn in especially in the bedrooms. We noticed the smell every time we walked into the cottage and it was a little off putting. The bedrooms all feel very dated, and the bathrooms really could do with an update. They just look and feel very old - would be great if they matched the quality of the updated kitchen! We bought slippers we used for the bathroom as the Lino just looked a bit old and worn. Some of the lights in the bedroom and bathroom were very flickery or didn’t work.
