“We really enjoyed our stay at Cliff and appreciated all the effort made to look after visitors.”
+The property itself has lots of character and is packed with little extras to provide comfort and amusement. The local beach is stunningly beautiful in all and any weathers, perfect for our wee dog. The barn was great for dripping outdoor clothing and the central heating system and stove got us dried out and warm quickly. The kitchen was very well equipped.
−This is not a complaint but we really enjoy cooking and although there were plenty of utensils, fridge and cooker spaces, we struggled with worktop space. Maybe declutter the kitchen space a wee bit?

“We had a really comfortable time and felt right at home.”
+We felt like we were right in the community. It was wonderful to see wild red deer from our property. Marie is a wonderful host and an excellent communicator, who gave us lots of useful local tips, i.e. the Raider Trailer food truck at Reef Beach. She provided a generous welcome basket and has made the property really comfortable. The house is very well equipped, with everything one would need. We found this to be an ideal base and were very happy here.

+Marie met us and went out of her way to accommodate our schedule. Cliff Cottage is set beautifully and you can hear the waves crashing from the garden. The house was well-appointed and had everything we needed to be at home away from home. I would definitely stay again!

+Marie met us at the house and showed us around which was very useful. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. There was also a welcome basket & a cupboard with dry items that we could use as well. Very welcoming with a great location for exploring local beaches & historic sites !

“Incredible stay in an incredible setting with an incredible host!”
+Our stay at Cliff Cottage was just incredible. We loved everything! Starting with our amazon host who went above and beyond for us. She had even prepared something for our toddler - a baby bed, high chair, and more! It was so gracious! She had amazing tips for us even for rainy weather activities and was so easy to contact when we had questions. She even brought us extra coffee when we realized we had forgotten to pick some up. The house is completely stocked with anything you might need. We stayed nearly a week and we felt right at home. We had a fire going every night and played games and made a cozy fire. The location is quiet and beautiful. Sheep, deer and rabbits were all seen from our window each day. It was a great starting point for daily walks and trips around the Isle. We would love to return again and stay at Marie's place! Can't wait! This trip will live in our memories for a long long time!

“Clean, comfortable, well-specified cottage in a great location.”
+We loved Cliff cottage’s absolutely brilliant position on the beautiful Valtos peninsula - surrounded by hills and an easy 5 mins walk to Cliff beach (great for surfing). The house was very comfortable - comfy sofa, comfy beds. The kitchen was brilliantly equipped and the showers had excellent water pressure. We enjoyed the log burner and it was great to be supplied with as many logs as we needed.

+Wildlife on our doorstep, beautiful beaches moments away and the rest of the island within easy reach. Lovely, comfortable accommodation to return to with everything we needed.
−Would have been nice to light the stove but it was just too warm!
