“Great view. Nice area.”
+The view from the huge west facing window is great ( tho you can’t see any of the tourist sites, it looks slightly too far north ). The location is just outside the tourist areas and the block itself appears otherwise residential so its quiet but there are shops, cafes and some restaurants within a 2 minute walk. The place is comfortable.
−Things to know, mostly obvious or minor: The place is on top of a ridge which runs north from the castle, and its just a little out of town. Walking down to the water front / tourist central in the morning takes about 1/2 an hour and is pleasant. No normal person would try to walk back from downtown Lisbon. To get back home we used an uber, which was really cheap. So if you’re happy to do that its not a problem. Its 4 flights of stairs up and there is no lift. If you can cope with this the view is definitely worth it but if you can’t…. Close all the curtains whenever you leave the property or the sun pours in in the afternoon and it gets very hot. Mornings and evenings are great and there was usually a breeze. The huge window opens if you need to let the heat out. Entry is via codes which you are sent on the day. We rang mid afternoon as we hadn’t been contacted and were given them then.

“Beautiful View. Modern comfort and luxury in the heart of Lisbon!”
+Location was great! The place is beautiful, updated, and modern.
−Check-in instructions could be better with more details. Be careful when hanging your clothes on the clothesline.

“Excellent apartment in a good location”
+The apartment is in a great location with a couple of supermarkets and a number of bus stops very close by. The apartment was immaculate and well equipped, and the rooms were more spacious than we expected from similar properties. Our booking confirmation said there was no wi-fi, however, the apartment does have wi-fi.
−We had one minor issue on arrival, which was soon sorted. We informed the host of our arrival time and were promised entry details before this. However, we had to chase them once we'd arrived. We were not met on site (as indicated on our booking confirmation) - access is via codes (which works well once you have the details!).
