+The host was very kind and helpful. The apartment was comfortable for a basement apartment and well equipped. The location was great.
−Definitely bring earplugs. The upstairs floor was very noisy, sometimes starting as early as 6 a.m., which unfortunately meant we were often woken up very early and affected the overall experience. The noise could also be heard during the day. The internet connection was unreliable at times.

“Clean and spacious apartment in a good location.”
+Super spacious one bedroom apartment which comfortably fit 3 of us. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed and more. The air con saved us in the heatwave. Could definitely stay here for a good week.

“Just outside of Old Town”
+Dijana was super friendly, she met us at the apartment after allowing us to check in early. The location is perfect, less than 10 minutes from the old town & ferry terminal, as well as being on the same side as the bus station and Split sign. Even though it was very central it was still quiet at night time except for when the neighbours were coming home (only noticeable if still awake). All the normal facilities (good hot shower & nice old air con) with the bonus of a washing machine, and considering we went to Dubrovnik afterwards, this was very spacious & good value for money in comparison.
−There are around 5 small steps to reach the apartment from the street, and another 5-10 steps down into the apartment from street level. We had a stroller & suitcases and it was completely easily manageable.

+Excellent location, quiet area, good amenities around for family with a baby. Cot was supplied free of charge and even gave us some baby food which was a nice touch.

+It's a nicely-sized and well-equipped apartment, very clean, in a quiet area, and only minutes walk to supermarkets, bakeries, and the Riva/Diocletian Palace/Old Town. Dijana was available at any time I needed, and arranged cleaning and towels & sheets, as required. The washing machine was useful for the long stay, and there was no problem using the courtyard for drying. The apartment's location is what makes it an 11/10: it's ideal for exploring Split - the "tourist" and the "regular" parts - and for getting to the bus and ferry ports (10 minutes walk) to go further afield. The two-ring hob and the microwave oven is fine for cooking in the apartment, but if you're a veggie looking for nice restaurants in town, I'd recommend Pandora Greenbox, Fig, Barakokula, and Veg. If you find yourself walking up town to the Joker mall, make sure you stop in Upcafe - it was a highlight of my visit. (Near Upcafe there's also The Basket bar and a great vinyl record shop, Analogija, if that's your thing.) If you have the time, don't skip on getting around Marjan Park (not just the Hill) - the entrance to the park (north side) is about 20 minutes walk from the apartment. The coves on the way to Bene
