“Location great not clean... disrepair”
−The location is great... however I was disappointed with this property. Unfortunately it was clear that the accommodation was neglected and in a state of disrepair. Sink and one of two toilets for example was broken. The most alarming issue was the cleanliness. The property was visibly dirty, and to make matters worse, there were bugs inside the living space. I had new viable bites of some kind every morning Basic maintenance has clearly been ignored, leaving the place feelin unmanaged and uncomfortable to stay in. Also, the host "claimed" to be available... offering assistance for Taxi etc. Never met the hosts, nor received a response after 3 attempts. I cannot recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, or comfortable environment. Improvements and professional cleaning and pest control would be helpful. Ck in inst re link for arrival and wifi info incorrect.

“Great balcony over canal!”
+Amazing location, with a gorgeous little balcony over the canal. Close to a central vaporetto stop and felt very safe and air con worked great. Communication was great and accessing building for self check in went smoothly.
−Would have been great to have a fan in bedrooms as air con was only in living room. Main door of building didn’t really lock which was a slight security concern but nothing major.

“Great location on the river. Noisy deliveries each morning!”

−The whole place needed some TLC especially the shower. Dirty grout, shower door was off its hinges due to rust. The host did offer to get someone to come and look but needs replacing rather than fixing. Kettle didn’t work, bed frame quite frayed. Like many let places it’s a money maker that they do t reinvest in. Would I stay here again if visiting the area? Only if the issues above were addressed. Also a great supermarket across the bridge which is handy but it has deliveries early each morning with loud trollies!

+We were sent excellent instructions on how to find it and how to get the key - complete with videos. The location is perfect - very central, on a beautiful bit of canal, 2 mins from a decent supermarket. Comfy beds. Classy decor. Well cleaned. Host was communicative and helpful. Excellent air conditioning.
−Some of the fixtures needs replacing - the leatherette on the bed is disintegrating, the worktop is badly stained, also the kitchen needs a sort-out (eg several kettles, some work but others don't). If it had these things sorted I would have given it a 10/10 overall.

“Authentic place overlooking a canal”
+The apartment is located in a lovely spot, overlooking a canal. It's a 15 minute walk from the city centre. The building is historic but nicely restored, and the balcony above the canal is an added bonus. Two bedrooms were very convenient for a family with kids. Little historic elements in the apartment added a nice authentic touch the place.
−Some small upgrades could elevate the whole experience: providing a bottle of water upon check-in, leaving several coffee pods for the coffee machine, and upgrading the bed linens. Providing more detailed instructions, i.e. the apartment floor, for a check-in in advance could be helpful as well.
