“Not worth the money sadly”
+Its a good location next to the Minster etc. the power shower was very good. Nice and hot and a good stream of water. The downstairs bed was like sleeping on a cloud it was so comfy! Plus the addition of a fan and an electric blanket were a nice touch. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery etc. and there were glasses for every type of drink. Great that its above Mannions for brekkie which was superb.
−The location is good but we could hear lots of noise. Sirens, live music and people chatting at 2am. Plus the bells in the Minster on Sunday were beautiful but loud. To get to the property was tricky. Through a dark gate, then a weird shed (bins, crocks and laundry) then the cafe courtyard then steep metal stairs. Hard to negotiate the courtyard on check out. Considering the place was refurbished in 2024 it was in quite a state of disrepair and it just simply wasn’t clean. The bedding and towels were clean so that was something. There were 3 very large spiders in the downstairs bedroom which wasn’t ideal and a huge Zebra one guarding the entrance. The sofa was broken, the rug rucked up, the carpet stained, under the sink was filthy, the place was covered in dust, mould in the shower and bits of breadstick dotted around the lounge. We did raise the issues but no offer to help just a ‘thanks for raising’. Considering this was £850 for 3 nights I at least expected it to be clean.

“Perfect”
+The apartment is fantastic. You really feel special for getting to live there, right in the middle of York and in such a historic house. Great that you can just get your morning croissant and coffee downstairs
