+Located very close to the National Gallery and Evangelismos Station, it facilitates relatively easy walks to Plaka, Kolonaki and Syntagma. Within the vicinity of the apartment are good eateries - I recommend Palm Bistro run by Angelos and a friendly taverna on the corner of Vraisida and Leoforos Vasileos Alexandrou, run by Stelios. Very close to the apartment is the hipster coffee shop, Roosters, handy if you need people to meet you for a Freddo. The apartment itself has a desk and kitchen and washing facilities. I would definitely recommend it and return if I can. The host was responsive to the questions that a tourist will naturally generate.

−Mixed feelings. The property had two hosts: a man and a woman. The man was exceptionally helpful and responded to all of our inquiries promptly and constructively. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the woman. When we pointed out that the breakfast supplies left for three people (essentially two loaves of bread, one sweet braided loaf, a large amount of cheese and butter, plus 2 liters of orange juice and 4 liters of milk) would not be sufficient for three people staying for eight days, the man brought additional groceries the very same day. However, shortly afterward, we received an official message from the woman stating that “this is not a hotel” and that what had been left in the apartment should be sufficient. So, the man was very helpful, while the woman later questioned or criticized us whenever we reported an issue. We greatly appreciated being allowed to check in several hours before the agreed time, but it should also be mentioned that this appeared to come at the expense of proper cleaning, as the apartment's cleanliness upon arrival left something to be desired. +An exceptionally comfortable, clean, tidy and very well-equipped apartment. Especially welcoming for families. The location is excellent for exploring the city - all major attractions are within walking distance. The metro and bus stops are nearby, as well as excellent restaurants and bars. I highly recommend it to everyone!

+We had a truly wonderful stay at Chambres Élysées and it exceeded our expectations. The apartment was incredibly comfortable, beautifully arranged, and so peaceful that it immediately felt like home. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Athens, in a quiet and elegant neighborhood, just a few minutes’ walk from Evangelismos metro, which made getting around the city effortless. The cleanliness was outstanding, everything was spotless and very well maintained, giving us an extra sense of comfort throughout our stay. As a small token of appreciation for the warm hospitality, we left a little gift when we checked out. We would absolutely choose this place again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Athens.
−The only thing to be aware of is that the apartment is semi-basement, which is something quite common in Greece, so it wasn’t really an issue for us. The bathroom is also a bit small, but absolutely manageable and comfortable for a short stay. Overall, these were very minor details compared to how pleasant, clean, and comfortable the accommodation was.
