“Enjoying the peace of the mountains”
+The owner was very welcoming and friendly. It was exceptionally well equipped for cooking and eating, and the views were stupendous. It was wonderful to sit on the front verandah and enjoy the feel of the mountains.

+What a wonderful stay. The location was great, the views from the garden were beautiful. The apartment was very comfortable and spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Karin was a great host. Could not ask for better!

+Thoughtfully-equipped facilities - for example, walking poles, umbrellas, a ski locker with boot-drying heaters near the station + well-equipped kitchenette (oven + induction hob, Nespresso machine etc.) and good size dining area. Spotlessly clean. Very nice host who communicated efficiently and pleasantly with us both before our arrival (via Booking.com messaging) and during our stay. Good location not too far from the Coop for grocery shopping. Fantastic view of the Lauterbrunnen valley from front the garden.
−If the kitchen had been a bit bigger a microwave oven would have been useful, for those quick, lazy meals! The location is great, but the chalet is down a steep hill from the town centre, so if you have mobility issues, then the walk back up the hill might prove difficult.

+Very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, bowls, utensils, pans, pots, etc. The views are amazing and probably one of our favorite lodging in all of Europe! Host was helpful and worked with us to ensure a good stay.
