“Wonderful place and would stay again.”

−Some miscommunication in that as of June 2026 the facility only took cash or bank transfer for payment.

“In the middle of a mountain with a beautiful view”
+* Nice location. Plenty of walking routes in the area, within a few minutes drive * Fully equipped with kitchen, utensils * Parking at location * The view from the room is beautiful, you see a range of mountains
−* host don't speak other than German and Italian, communication can be difficult if you don't speak one of the languages * Wi-fi is hardly working * Old building. Heating/cooling take a long time (for room temperature and shower). * No card /digital payment, only cash payment

+The location is excellent,peaceful and scenic, yet still close to a grocery store and bus stop. We stayed here for hiking, and it was a very convenient base. Several trails were easily accessible on foot, and on another day, it was simple to catch a bus to Alpe di Siusi. The owner even provided free bus tickets, which was a great bonus,thank you for that. Lukas, the owner, is very friendly and attentive. He makes sure you feel comfortable and well-informed, so you won’t get lost or confused. He’s also very helpful if you need anything,whether it’s advice or practical items, like a larger pan. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

+The location was perfect and very close to many places we wanted to go. Also the room was very spacious and had a full kitchen/dining/living area which we weren’t expecting! The host was very nice and immediately welcomed us.
−There were some small things that would have made our stay/trip more convenient, but we were not expecting to be provided with as much as we were so there are no major complaints! We were very pleased with our stay.

“Great base for accessing the cable car systems. Clean, quiet and secure.”
+(1 bedroom appt upstairs Sept 2025. hikers) All very clean and in good repair. Spacious bathroom, basic kitchenette, comfy bed, lots of storage. Covered balcony with corner seating, use of garden and deckchairs. Car garaging under property. Great advice on the area from Lukas the Owner who lives in the building and he forwarded bar codes for free local bus travel passes to us via Watsap. There is a pleasant path accessible from the back of the property which leads either to the road to catch a bus along the valley to S Christina or the other way towards town. It links up with the free escalator to take you down into town ( decent supermarkets) or up for the connection to Seceda cable car. We had a 3 day cable car pass and did multiple places each day. The best food is from the Refugio restaurants while you are up the mountains in the daytime,home cooked dishes better than in the towns.
−The seating which is typical I’d say for chalet accommodation so no comfy chairs. No payment was taken via Booking.com it’s direct, so pay the owner by bank transfer before your stay or Euro cash notes on arrival. Contact the owner by Watsap for clarification as a transfer on arrival can take days to clear.

+We spent a few days here to escape the city heat and unwind. My son and I decided to head to the mountains, and it was the perfect choice. We arrived late, but the host kindly waited for us, helped us park, and even upgraded us to a two-bedroom apartment at no extra cost, even though we had only booked a one-bedroom. The location is ideal , just minutes from the city center, shops, and ski lifts, yet tucked away on a peaceful street. And the view from the apartment? Absolutely magical, with the mountains right outside the window. Inside, the apartment is spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. It truly feels like home , everything you need is right there. We didn’t end up cooking, but I checked out the kitchen and it was very well-equipped. The host was incredibly warm, attentive, and thoughtful. Honestly, the only downside is that I didn’t want to leave. I’m already planning my next visit. The city itself is stunning, and we were lucky enough to explore three different parts of the mountains via the ski lifts.
