−The place is very smelly and humid, making it unlivable. We contacted the owner to resolve the issue, and he acknowledged the problem during a visit. However, he failed to take any action. As a result, we had to book alternative accommodation. Unfortunately, the owner refused to refund our money.

+the location was very central and there was a secure parking station close by. The bedroom and bathroom were good sizes
−The hot water did not work when we arrived and there was only a bed sheet on the bed. Our host resolved the hot water issue and provided a light bed cover. We assumed as breakfast was incl that there would be a kettle and some cups in the room ...but there was not. Breakfast is a $2.50 euro per person voucher at a local cafe, which while delicious meant you had to get dressed and leave the apartment for your morning coffee. The bedside tables and lights are in fixed positions.....and more than 60cm away from the sides of the bed....dangerous! There was noise from the units behind which meant windows and doors needed to be closed, air conditioner helped mitigate this issue.

“Clean and convenient apartment”
+Fabio was wonderful, helpful and quick to respond. He also left us a couple of bottles of water for our arrival! The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Considering the high temperatures, a temporary air conditioner was installed in the bedroom and a fan was available in the living room.
−To keep in mind: With the air conditioner installed, the window needed to be open to release the hot air (don’t worry, there were bars and another layer of glass, so it’s not a safety risk). This meant that we would hear any noise from the street in the bedroom. We’re not light sleepers and thankfully it’s a calm and quiet street so this wasn’t really an issue!

+A wonderful apartment in the center of Cernobbio. Very hospitable person Fabio - left detailed instructions for check-in, recommended good restaurants in Chernobio. Upon check-in, he presented a bottle of water and a bottle of Proseco - it was very pleasant after the trip to Como

+The location of the apartment is ideal; a short walk to the lake, and to all the other restaurants and shops. Also next to best bakery I've ever been to! The apartment has all the necessary amenities, and is ideal for a couple, and even a child.
