“Safety risks. Complete waste of money.”
+Location was unbeatable and the best part of the rental. Lots of space in the apartment and it's well stocked. Door code worked well. The apartment is attractive and rustic. No AC but plenty of fans. It was clean. Would recommend for young adults but definitely not children, obese, or the elderly.
−The hosts warn that the stairs are quite steep but unfortunately they were much steeper than I envisioned. If there's a larger member of your family or a senior citizen in your group forget about it. I can't even imagine trying to carry a large luggage up or down. There's a large, low hanging wooden beam on the top floor. It would be easy for one to smack their head against. Kitchen is like a bomb shelter with poor lighting. More steep steps that lead to the kitchen with no railing to hold onto. I had to duck to come into the kitchen so it was pretty awkward. We all decided the stay was not worth an injury so we cut our losses and ended up staying elsewhere. I was unable to reach the host by text message so limited responses using Booking.com messages. I had questions I never got answers to. Huge waste of money.

“Great location, quality fine for a couple of nights - not really suitable for young families”
+The location of this property is ideal - just two blocks from the Grande Place and walkable to most of the centre of Brussels. The property is quirky, almost certainly previously a shop and possibly an old merchants house. The stairs (three staircases) were steep, but we expected this thanks to the accurate description. The communication was great and were offered to leave our luggage in the launderette for safe keeping if we needed to.
−Property was fine for two nights, but I would have been disappointed if I had booked to stay for longer or if I was staying with family. There are three toilets - but only one had a sink. The main bathroom (with shower), had no door lock. The toilets were stained. Skirting boards were hanging off. Paintwork chipped and looking old. The kitchen was in a damp cellar, any cooking in there would have made the kitchen even more damp. PROPERTY NOT SUITABLE FOR THE ELDERLY, THE INFIRM OR THOSE WITH SMALL CHILDREN.

“The uniqueness of the house just meshed great with our adventurous trip.”
+What a wild property! We spent 20 minutes just in wonder at the unique features of the house. So much packed into such a little space. Great location in city center.
−Stairs a little sketchy, especially with luggage. But we knew that going in.

“It is a good location. Not practical for cooking. Not practical if you are even slightly unstable on your feet.”

−It really needs maintenance. The bathroom needs a upgrade. The kitchen is not really usable for cooking. The hot water in the kitchen did not work. There is a moldy smell in the cellar/kitchen. The bathroom also has a strange smell. The train and street is noisy. The stairs are dangerously steep and uneven.

+Easy access, fantastic location and interior - like in a fairy tale of the 16th century! Clear instructions, setting fair expectations (like the stairs that are steep and plenty), and prompt communication with the host. It was an absolitely pleasant stay, thank you so much!
−The shower head was attached to the wall. However, it was still convenient to use it.

“Hyper pratique et typique.”
+Vivre le temps d’un week end dans un « morceau d’histoire » du centre de Brussels à 2 pas du quartier historique.
−Il a fallu s’habituer à être au cœur de la cité avec l’effervescence, les transports … mais tout ça est largement compensé par la découverte de la ville qui peut se faire à pied.

+Increible ubicacion, la puerta con codigo facilito para todos el ingreso. Ideal para grupo de amigos, las escaleras sin muy empinadas pero el factor de tener una casa completamente para el grupo, en pleno centro de Bruselas… es un lujo

+Struttura in zona centrale, perfetta per gli spostamenti a piedi o per prendere il treno (vicino alla Stazione Centrale). Letti comodi.
−Pulizia generale insufficiente: polvere e sporcizia sui pavimenti. La zona cucina è un locale sotto il livello strada , umido e buio. Peccato, perché con piccoli lavori di ristrutturazione ed una pulizia accurata, sarebbe un appartamento davvero ideale per un soggiorno di qualche giorno.
