“Clean but poor internet. I recommend renting a scooter, small buses often full, taxis €30-50/ride”
+The apartment was clean and as described. The host eventually brought us two extra bottles of water after we asked, which was appreciated given the very hot weather.
−Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi did not work during our stay and the mobile signal inside the apartment was very weak, making it difficult to stay connected. The host informed us that this was a temporary issue.

“Very nice property but a long multibus trip from the port unless you take a very expensive cab ride ($45).”
+Everything was very clean. The air-conditioning worked well. The bathroom was nice. The decor was pretty. The host provided packaged croissants, crackers, jelly, and a bottle of water. It was a gated property and felt very safe. The balcony was a nice place to relax. If you’re willing to walk a bit there are some cool spots, - restaurants and beach - within 20-40 minutes. Otherwise take the bus.
−There was a helicopter pad right next door which was noisy during the day, but not at night. Not really a big deal. The directions to take the bus were rather confusing. Make sure to ask questions to clarify when you arrive. I noticed steps going up to the roof, and I was curious if it was a lanai I could use. When I asked the host about it, her eyes narrowed and she looked at me very, very suspiciously. The suspicion in her eyes increased when I asked if I could use the backyard. They were very innocent questions but her response was somewhat unsettling. The next day when I saw her, she still had that extremely suspicious look in her eyes. I ignored it and wished her a good day. It took me a while to shake off. In all of the Airbnbs I’ve stayed in I’ve never had an experience like that before.

“The owner is very nice and helpful. Apartment was in excellent condition and clean.”
+Little further from Anacapri but we still consider it a great location since the bus stop is right in front of the apartment + plus it is a nice walk in the evening when you go from Anacapri back to the apartment. It is very clean and tidy thanks to the cleaning lady who comes twice a week.
−We had a little power outage due to the storm which affected our overall impression of the stay, but it has nothing to do with the apartment itself. It was no ones fault. The owner was trying to fix the problem right away.

−The location is a little bit far away but there is a bus stop right in-front of the house.

+The holiday home was perfectly clean with all the facilities we needed. The location was excellent with Anacapri, Grotto Azzura, beaches, transport links, etc. all close by. The host was friendly, and the home was kept very well maintained during our stay with new towels being delivered, frequent visits from the cleaners, and even maintenance in the garden. Upon our arrival, the host met us to hand over the keys, explain how to gain entry to the property, show us around the home, tell us about local landmarks/attractions, and was very welcoming. The fridge was stocked with milk, juice, water, and more. There was more than enough breakfast, coffee pods, and dishwasher/washing machine tablets. We did bring our own toiletries, but there were more than enough supplied in the bathroom for us to use. We loved our stay at CasaAle and cannot recommend it enough.
−Unfortunately the oven didn't work during our stay, and we were encouraged to use the microwave as an alternative. While we appreciated there being an alternative, a microwave isn't always a suitable replacement for an oven.
