“We really enjoyed staying at the property with a lot of space and the garden!”
+The location is perfect, you need a car on the island! The proximity to the ocean is just fabulous for a quick morning dip!
−The furniture is dated and the beds and couches are not the most comfortable ones!

“Lovely place for fun loving young couples or young families.”
+The property was updated and exceptionally clean. All appliances were in working order and there were plenty of towels and bed linens.
−Lack of either overhead or portable fans in the downstairs: to keep night noises from the cafe across the street to a minimum we had to close the French doors. There is no “shared pool” with the owner next door.

“Spacious comfortable house on the north side of the island.”
+Nice, spacious, modern two-story house with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Very helpful host. Good WIFI coverage. The house is very close to a small arteficial beach, and a good starting point to explore the island. You will need a car and some driving skills, though.
−There is a bar close to the house. Nothing extreme, but expect some noise if crowded.

“Spacious and private rental, great ocean views!”
+This house is really charming with an enclosed car parking area up top and enclosed private garden outside the bedrooms. There was many opportunities to utilize the outdoor spaces including a deck, the garden, and an outdoor dining area all available to the renters. We appreciated the privacy of the property but it is also located near a bar/restaurant and a popular swimming spot that we enjoyed. Someone met us at the property to exchange keys as well as advise some things to do. The property manager seemed very available if we needed anything - and the owner of the house took the time to introduce himself and let us know we could ask him for anything we may have needed! We would absolutely stay again if we ever get back to the Azores!

“Amazing stay in a beautiful home across from the natural pool in Capelas”
+We enjoyed our stay very much and surprised by some of the negative reviews on the site. We are glad we chose to ignore those reviews and booked anyway. Only negative I can think of is the proximity to the bar across the street. The patrons sometimes lingered late and had loud conversations but it did not lessened our experience. We loved the covered veranda off the living room, overlooking the natural swimming area across from the home. There was a nice patio adjacent to the kitchen with a dining set. It also had a retractable awning for enjoying meals while it was rainy or too hot. By the way, the natural ocean water pool across the street is amazing! A must experience! The village of Capelas is bit out of way so one must have a car but the Ponta Delgada airport is only 25 minutes away! The kitchen was well equipped with cutlery, and utensils, plenty of pots and pans for cooking. Only complaint I have is that most of the knives were too dull to be useful. The house itself is super private with locked gate and private parking. We did not lock our car for entire five days of our stay. “Mobiliario urbano del entorno”
+Los espacios muy luminosos y grandes: dormitorios, baños, salón, terraza y jardín. Poder tener el coche dentro de la parcela.
−Que a pesar de tener el mar enfrente y muy cerca apenas se veía con las instalaciones de las piscinas y parking (hormigón y grandes focos).
