“Besutiful and comfortable apartment great for exploring Rome”

+We stayed at the Casa Sole in Roma property for 8 nights. Close proximity to Metro (Porta Metronia, Line C, one stop from the Colosseum) and even closer to a good sized grocery store (Castoro Supermarket), plus two bedrooms and two bathrooms, full well-stocked kitchen (including oven which is often not the case), laundry works fantastic, balcony overlooking the street and tennis courts. The host instantly responded to all inquiries day and night. For example the fridge wasn't working when we arrived but the owner had it replaced with a new one by the second full day of our stay. They even offered to cover the cost of our food that went bad. There is a working elevator but we just walked up the two flights of stairs. Road outside is two lane in one direction and can be a little loud, so bring earplugs, but I am a light sleeper and it didn't bother me. A/C worked perfectly and there is a unit in each room, including the bathrooms. I didn't try the heater as it wasn't cold, but there are new clean radiators in each room and bathroom. The single room is a little small and has a single sized bed (one person), and the other room was large two person bed. Excellent firm mattresses. Large

+Our host Sara was very kind, she asked us every day if we needed anything. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with drinks and snacks! The apartment was clean and spacious, located close to the Colosseum!

“Rating would have been much higher if the mattress and pillow were better.”

−The pillows were hard as a rock and could not sleep on them. The mattress was also hard. The use of automation to open the doors worked well but you lose the human factor. Owner or manager should make an intro telephone call.
