“In desperate need of repairs and changes”
+The location of the place and the good communication with the people who manage it were the only positive parts and it is because of these two reasons I'm giving a 3 and not a 1
−We knew the place is small, so we didn't expect much when it comes to its size, but we did expect it to be in a better condition! Mold almost everywhere (with a shower curtain that we were disgusted to touch), linen and towels with stains (thankfully we had brought one small each for the beach, so we were mostly using ours), walls in desperate need of repairs and painting, the ceiling shaking when the people who lived on the upper floor walked around their apartment and generally a lot of items in a bad condition (like the worn small chair in the bathroom, the sponge with hair in the cupboard and the stained toilet paper). The place can be such a cosy flat but unfortunately at the moment it is a very bad option

“Was “fine” but needs a lot of maintenance.”
+Good location, the appliances and bed are great. Ideally for a 2-3 night stay.
−I was disappointed in the messaging time of the assistant as I had a problem with the lock. Got resolved after almost 2.5 hours. I really hated the humidity smell in the bathroom due to no proper ventilation. The sink was found dirty and the toilet sealer was not properly done… as per photo.

+Great location and value for money. Super romantic and sweet. Beautiful neighborhood. But you should paint the walls, resolve mold issues, and invest a bit in furniture everything is really too cheap. But still I was happy there and would recommend

+Nice hilltop location, though steep walk on rough road. Very tiny small place but clean, compact room. Good location near restaurants and a few areas of interest.
−In-house WiFi does not work & not repairable, though owner was apologetic. Had to wait a day for a portable device before WiFi can be used. There is an electric cooker near the bed but no extractor fan so any cooking would be hazardous. Limited toilet rolls, when asked for more was told have to buy our own! Did reluctantly provided a couple of rolls extra. No wardrobe, only shelves and small baskets for storing clothes. Overall expensive rental for size.

“terrible security , door was broken and the outside door is open always, worst experience !!!”
+honesty, this was the worst experience i have ever had with booking.com i have explained my reasons to booking.com , the property had a broken door and it caused a terrible stay in lisbon with my partner, we spent the marjority of our time trying to deal with the door and the key that does not work properly, we were locked in and was not able to open the door in some cases over night (had to call a locksmith ourselves to fix the issue). However, the location was very good and the host was not that bad at responding to the issue of the door but blamed us for breaking the door (please look back at other reviews to see this issue was bond to happen- door was not locking properly for more than year) . The way they handled the problem shocked me, with no real help from the landlord. I usually do very good reviews on the properties and tend to hate giving bad reviews because i see that as not nice but for this property that i cannot, before leaving I paid to finally fix the door which was not functioning correctly for more than a year. to hope that no other tenant faces the same problem as we did with the landlord .... so be very cautious about renting this property !!!

“Fun for a few days”
+Check in was easy and host was responsive and friendly. Great location with a lot of great food around. Check out Damas for dinner and Copenhagen Coffee Lab for breakfast, these were some highlights of our time in Portugal. The apartment is small, tighter than it looks in pictures, but it was fine for us (the TV is unusable due to its location but we wouldn't use it anyway).
−Smell from the bathroom drain isn't good. Its tolerable, but not good. The bed is up against walls on 3 sides and feels a little claustrophobic. The plumbing from the neighbor is just behind the wall of the bed, so you can hear the toilet flush and water running next to your head. It was fun to stay in a legit tiny apartment in Lisbon, but I'd get a hotel my next visit.

“Very good”
+Great location - close to everything but not too busy. There is a lovely Saturday market just up the road. The tram to downtown stops just around the corner.
−it is a very tight space, especially the bathroom. Not much room for my clothes etc. it is ok for 1 person, a bit small for 2.

“LISSABON”

−If I could find something, it might be the sewage smell that was strong from the toilet..but there is nothing else to complain about..everything was perfect for me!

−No ventilation in the small bathroom and it got very humid, so my towel did not dry at all and there was nowhere to hang it.
