“Beautifully restored Casa, an ideal base for exploring”
+We loved the property! A highlight was the outdoor space including an outdoor under cover cooking area and a lovely terrace overlooking the valley The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you needed. There were items that made life simple including tea bags, coffee and some lovely treats in the fridge too! We really felt comfortable there, the beds had firm memory foam mattresses which ensured a good nights sleep. The shower was great too You need a car as the Casa is out of the way from the main tourist area but it’s a perfect place to experience real Madeira. The road up to the parking area is steep and there’s a short walk to the property. It was an excellent base for our week exploring the island. Fábio was an excellent host and answered every question we had including good places to eat, where to shop etc
−Nets at windows to keep any mosquitoes out at night would be a great addition

+We really enjoyed our stay. The property is a unique old farmhouse full of character and charm, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. It was clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and made for a peaceful overnight stay. The traditional stone building gave it a really authentic Madeiran feel
−There wasn’t anything major to dislike. If anything, the access path is quite narrow and a small walk from the parking, but that’s to be expected in this part of Madeira and adds to the character of the location.

+The house was great, climatic, i love the facilities. Good location, nice levada nearby. Separate parking for guests. Everything you need for your stay in madeira
−There was weird duvet cover (the duvet was put between two sheets instead of inside of the cover. Beside that the house was perfect.

“Lovely house, great location for levada walks”
+We had a lovely stay in this very nicely refurbished house. The beds are great, though a little bit on the firm side. The view is stunning, so nice to sit on the terras overlooking the valley after a long day of hiking. The only downside was the somewhat difficult shower, it took some time to get it working. Al in al, a fantastic stay and a very welcoming and responsive owner

+The house was bigger than we expected. Here it is easy to breathe, and everything has a relaxed rest. The beds are comfortable. Fábio (an owner) was extremely helpful and fast to reply any questions. You shouldn't expect many entertainments there, but you'll be amazed by the view, silent and sounds of the nature. The house made with love and it's convenient. I was traveling on a wheelchair and crutches, so not each place of accomodations were suitable for me. The house has a stair inside, but I expected that. Nice to me that the bathroom and the bedroom are on the same floor and there was an entrance there too. The borderless shower is a big advantage for me as well. That was nice to have a fireplace. Another nice benefit is a small garden with all required green spices: rosemary, melissa, sage, - it's such lovely!l So, we definitely want to come again.

+Cosy little house with everything we needed. Good local walks along the levada and easy to access the rest of the island by car Fabio was very responsive to questions, and it was great that we met his brother on arrival to show us the way to the house in the dark!

“Casa privata molto carina in zona tranquilla”
+Intera casa a disposizione, ben curata e tenuta con cucina ben attrezzata sia di stoviglie che di utensili. Nel giardino privato sono presenti sedie e sdraio per rilassarsi. La zona è molto tranquilla, fresca e ben ventilata. È disponibile un parcheggio a 1 minuto a piedi, molto comodo se si tiene conto che non ci sono posti auto segnati nella zona. La casa si trova a pochi minuti dalla strada principale ER101, la quale conduce in poco tempo alla vicina Machico; sempre da questa strada si possono raggiungere molti sentieri trekking in tempi ragionevoli. L'Host della struttura è molto disponibile e risponde subito per qualunque esigenza.

+Très belle maison rénovée avec gout et équipements/lits de très bonne qualité, nous avons adoré ce lieu paisible! Petit rooftop sympa avec des transats que nous n’avions pas vu sûr les photos en plus…et parking dédié qui facilite grandement l’accès, à 10min de voiture du ventre de machico. Merci nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour!

“Séjour parfait dans un très joli cadre”
+La maison est très bien rénovée, très bonne literie, propre et bien équipée. L’extérieur est très agréable (barbecue, transats et hamac). Idéale pour un couple avec 1 ou 2 enfants. C’est calme et la vue sur les collines de Machico est imprenable. Très bien située pour explorer l’île. Très bonne communication avec Fabio (procédure d’arrivée détaillée et recommandations de restos et balades) et des attentions dans le frigo à notre arrivée. Arrivée autonome et place de parking réservée.
