“Amazing stay at a very lovely and peacefull villa”
+We had a lovely stay in this villa. Artur left a very clear discription to the house and all access points. We had a lot of space and all the things we needed for our stay. We could contact Artur very easily and he was always ready to answer our questions very quickly. The house was also super clean, and after a week, it was cleaned again.
−Our car had a low bumper, so we could not park on the property. So, if you rent a car and stay at this place, one with a higher bumper is advised. We solved it by parking at the very lovely neighbour's place just one house up the hill. The other thing is that the beds were a bit hard, but that is a personal perference, moreover had a good sleep, and no other issues.

“Quiet place with a nice view at the ocean.”
+The house is located 580m high at a quiet dead-end street uphill. Nice sundown view guaranteed. Even a view above clouds is possible at this height. If one prefers to eat at the good village center restaurants, a walk is possible and a good training at the way back up the hill. There is enough space at the frigde-freezer for a family. A couple of cold packs would be helpful as the local super markets do not offer these. An electric dasher is available and the electric stove utilities allow baking. Outside the house is a barbecue area with a roof and good wind protection. Patrizia was so kind to propose a butcher nearby Moniz. The big wall mounted 4K-TV provides a good picture and sound. You can connect a laptop via regular HDMI-cable at the left hand side if you have small hands. Internet connection is sufficient for streaming. If you need anything, just ask Patrizia for proposals.
−The gate to the property might be a little bit stuck due to the locking mechanism has to be unlocked from the gates inner side. You have to open the gate before you can get to the door of the house, where the code protected key box is located too. Once you understood the mechanism, it is very easy to open the gate.

“Lots of privacy and space with exceptional views.”
+The views, but most of all the outdoor kitchen where we spent most of our time. It has an amazing BBQ . We could watch the sundown every evening from the front . Walking distance to Levada Ponte do Pargo with beautiful nature. Our host was very helpful with some minor issues. House was fresh and clean with a large tv with Netflix . We had everything we needed and very handy to have a washing machine with a long stay. We will never forget the place.🐈👌
−The road leading to the house has a gradient of 20% . There is a technique you have to work out as a good driver (my husband) to be able to park your car without a problem in to the private parking space. This is however in most places in Madeira due to the steep roads. The adress we had to our house was Calheta so we followed that on our gps from the airport but kept getting lost. We discovered that the adress is in Ponte do Pargo and Calheta is the area (but also a city). This caused some confusion in getting there.

+Nice little house with a great view. Well equipped and a lot of space. All our questions were answered quickly and communication was really friendly.
−The driveway is pretty narrow and the street really steep. Challenging if not an experienced driver. It is not really the fault of the House, Madeira is like that :) In March it was sunny, but still cold and pretty humid. There are heaters in the house, but it took some time to heat the big room. Again not the fault of the House but you should be aware of that.

“Nice stay, we would recommend if somebody wants to stay in the west!”
+Location, bbq, open living space, kitchen equipment (sharp knives!!), in general the view, but the fence right in the sight of sunset is not so nice. The Levada next to the house!
−The cold blueish light in the living room killed the flair of the nice room; bathroom showers very old, drain was clogged before we cleaned it, one drain of the kitchen sink leaked, so we one of two sinks ( not having a dishwasher…)

“Nice house, bad beds.”
+The location is remote. One hour by car from the airport and on the north side of the island. The weather there is colder and it rains often. Close to a beautiful lighthouse and nice restaurants. There were some walking paths but we didn’t walk on the neighbourhood. It’s a quiet place with a nice view for sunset. The house has everything you need. Well equipped kitchen, wifi and a good size tv with many channels. It has a good size living room/ kitchen and a big attic. Big and nice outside area. The owner was very nice to us giving tips about where to have nice meals in the nearby area. There was information about emergency numbers and pharmacies.
−The house must be closed most of the time so it was very smelly and we arrived and very cold inside. It wasn’t spotless but acceptable clean. The bathroom is very small and the window can’t be closed. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the bedcovers were smelly, like from the moist in the air. Very unpleasant. We used the house mainly to sleep and breakfast. But sleep was difficult due to the uncomfortable beds.

+heel fijn verblijf. in de ochtend en avond lekker in de zon buiten eten. Heerlijk rustige locatie. uitzicht was prachtig. locatie was dicht bij levada's voor mooie wandelinen.
−we misten een scherp mesje voor het schillen van Fruit en andere zaken. Een Theepot hadden we fijn gevonden. De bedden waren niet top maar voor een paar nachtjes was het ok.
