+We had a great stay at this house on Madeira! We really enjoyed the location - it was peaceful and scenic, but still conveniently close to the main attractions. The property itself is spacious, with a large house and a beautifully maintained garden area. The swimming pool was clean and well-kept, and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax both indoors and outdoors (water was warm most of the time). The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay - from kitchen basics to towels and other essentials. Having a private parking space was also a big plus. One more thing we truly appreciated was that pets are allowed - we were able to stay with our dog, which was a big advantage for us. Overall, it’s a great option for a group or family looking to enjoy the island with lots of space.
−A few things could be improved: The Wi-Fi doesn’t reach all areas of the house or the property, which made it a bit difficult to stay connected at times. The parking area is also quite tricky, as it’s located on a steep slope - though this is not something the hosts can control, it’s worth noting for future guests. Inside the house, there’s a noticeable damp or musty smell, possibly from the old furniture or just the general humidity. A lot of the furnishings and items feel outdated, and some parts of the house seem a bit neglected or not thoroughly cleaned. While everything works, some areas and appliances are definitely showing signs of wear and could use maintenance or refreshing.

−W domu panuje wilgoć, w szafach śmierdzi więc wszystko trzeba trzymać w walizce, dom był brudny: podłogi nieumyte, tylko zamiecione, w kuchni brudno, w zamrażalce grzyb, dolna łazienka niewietrzona. Koce stare. Jedno łóżko długie, ale drugie to rama z krótkim, nieprzymocowanym, zsuwającym się materacem. Kompletny brak wyposażenia kuchni - na 6 osób - 3 kieliszki do wina, stare, zdarte patelnie, 1 ścierka kuchenna, brak ręczników papierowych, żadnej kapsułki do ekspresu do kawy - na wzór. Wystarczyłoby gruntownie wysprzątać całość, zainwestować 100 Euro w kuchnię i wrażenie byłoby inne.

−La propreté générale de la maison et son entretien doivent être revu. Par exemple la fixation du pommeau de douche et de la cuvette des WC dans la salle de bain du haut ne tiennent pas. Seconde chose, la piscine à tournée trouble dès le 4ème jour alors que nous y allions que très rarement, étrange. Et enfin il n'y a pas assez de couvert, ustensiles et vaisselles dans la cuisine pour une villa de ce type.

+Gostámos muito da localização e do espaço exterior aberto, com uma ampla zona de churrasco e uma mesa robusta ideal para receber vários convidados. A cozinha é espaçosa. Há bonitas plantações e uma vista agradável para o oceano. Estacionamento disponível para dois carros.
−Infelizmente, a nossa estadia ficou bastante aquém das expectativas. A piscina estava suja durante todos os 10 dias da nossa estadia e, apesar de termos comunicado isso ao proprietário, ninguém apareceu para limpá-la. Acabámos por não usar a piscina nenhuma vez. As paredes da casa estavam sujas, a sanita do rés-do-chão também não estava limpa, e a cortina da casa de banho tinha manchas escuras de bolor. As toalhas tinham cheiro desagradável e a roupa de cama apresentava um tom amarelado. Tivemos de comprar toalhas novas por conta própria. Embora a casa tenha piscina e espreguiçadeiras, não havia qualquer toalha de praia disponível, o que consideramos essencial. Também faltavam itens básicos na cozinha, como papel de cozinha. A impressão geral da casa é de falta de cuidado e manutenção. Pelo preço cobrado, esperávamos muito mais em termos de limpeza e conforto.
