“A very disappointing property”
+This property is really difficult to understand, and I’ll do my best to be factual and not emotive. I booked the property as I was travelling with my 19 year old son, who is a professional sportspersons and needed to rest and recover during off-season. So we needed somewhere calm and relaxed to stay and Pollenca, peaceful and surrounded by nature, seemed the right place. The property is marketed in a way that would well accommodate us, various bedrooms and living areas, with all the things necessary to ensure a relaxing stay. That was not the case. Here are the positives and the negatives. Positives: - The property is well located in the old town of Pollenca. The restaurants and the environs of the historic centre are all within a few minute’s walk. - The property is clean. - The property has a garage (but see further below). Negatives: It is really difficult to understand the property layout, what the intention was, it is very disconnected and there are major problems with retained heat in the building and a lack of properly functioning air conditioning that makes 2/3 of the living areas of the property unusable. “Overall a very nice stay!”
+Easy and nice communication with the host. Authentic downtown stay in a cozy little house. 3 nice bedrooms, 2 baths, two living room and a kitchen area as well as a large rooftop area made it a very nice place.
−December and some unfortunate weather is maybe not the best time to travel to Mallorca. Activities (cycling) was limited due to that and souther Spain is not used to having to actually heat a place.

“Wonderful quiet location with great town views”
+Location was perfect, terrace fantastic. Having garage huge asset as parking can be difficult, also kept car cool. Facilities very good, top floor newly fitted kitchen etc.
−Although we are relatively fit it’s 3 flights of stairs to kitchen.

“Excellent property in an ideal location but didn’t like stairs.”
+Location was excellent and the property itself was extremely well equipped with plenty of space throughout. It was very clean and the outside space on the top floor was a perfect sun trap.
−The stairs were very steep and a little intimidating, especially when carrying luggage or heavy bags.

“Outstanding location in beautiful Pollenca”
+The location of the property is outstanding being so close to Placa Major, the centre of Pollenca. The air conditioning was effective (the best we've experienced) and the views from the top floor were breathtaking.

“Superb”
+The house is in an excellent location, was very clean and has a wonderful, spacious roof terrace. The large garage was a real bonus.
−Unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues, as there are 3 sets of stairs. A small welcome pack would have been really useful (water, bread, oj, milk).

−Unable to park outside due to size of hire car & narrow street but were able to park a few minutes walk away in wider street for free.

“Delightful property in a perfect location”
+Perfect location, beautiful property and the roof terrace was a delight all round from early morning to late evening. Spacious light airy property with lots of room two bathrooms and a large kitchen
−Agree with previous person, air con not great in the main bedroom. We would have appreciated a welcome pack, we arrived late and it would have been nice to have had some water in the fridge. Also some basics like dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, bin bags and soap for all the sinks to cover the stay. Spent the first day looking for supermarkets to buy all these things, so a heads up to let guests know where the nearest supermarkets are, and that there is a bakery at the end of the road with opening times etc etc would have been helpful. Washing machine door didn’t close so we were unable to use it. Sometimes the small things are the big things that just make the difference.
