7.0+Lovely little village with a good local pub serving excellent food. The cottage was small but was big enough for 2 adults for a weekend but I would have struggled with the stairs to the double room on the top floor.
−We found a hair bobble randomly in the middle of the bedroom floor, a empty water bottle by the side of the sofa and some of the glasses had lipstick marks on them. We washed what we needed beforehand just to make sure. Don't know why people don't use mould and mildew spray, it seems an on going problem wherever I stay. I hate black mould marks in the shower.

9.0+It was lovely little cottage with everything you need. The views from the garden were beautiful and was a fantastic place to sit and eat breakfast. The cottage was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. It was one of the best holiday rentals I have ever stayed in. A real home from home.
−There are places to eat nearby and a shop over the road but it was a little bit of a journey to the nearest supermarket. Not a complaint just a heads up.

9.0“The perfect base for exploring the amazing countryside around.”
+Lovely location well served by local amenities and extremely comfortable. The cottage was well equipped, pretty and had a pleasant garden with a fantastic view.
−Though fine for us, the ladder style stairs to the master bedroom might be a challenge for older or more infirm guests- but that was a minor point.

8.0“Cosy cottage in small village”
+Location was excellent, parking very easy and shop across the road. Very cozy cottage and good base for cycling holiday
−Top bedroom hard to get into as stairs very narrow and steep. But that’s what an old house is like .

10.0“Cosy cottage, stunning views!”
+Amazing cosy cottage, very well equipped. Had everything and more we needed, stunning views and great location. Short drive to all the beautiful surrounding towns which are all worth visiting such as Staithes, Whitby, Robinhoods Bay, Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Saltwick Bay. Cannot wait to visit again!

9.0“Delightful!”
+Beautiful cottage, recently renovated - everything tastful and smart. Bed really comfy, with quality duvet, pillows and bed linen. Superb rural views out the back towards distant hills. Would love to come back in the summer to enjoy sitting in the back garden! Co-op very handy, just opposite the cottage. 2 nice pubs in village also within close walking distance. Great to be able to bring our dog and a nice touch that there were dog bowls, towels, treats etc left for our use.
−The stairs to the top bedroom are very steep, so would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Galley kitchen well equipped, though really only big enough for one person at a time,.
