+Francisco’s home is perfectly secluded- the most wonderful peace and quiet- while still very close to the town and the seaside and ports. The pool is exactly what I wanted, and there is enough room for a family or a small group of friends to stay. We made ourselves right at home. We barbecued and had meals there, and even did some laundry. It feels like a place you could just stay at forever. It makes me want to buy one myself one day :) And the experience was made immeasurably better by the attention to detail and extra efforts from Francisco, the very personable and kind host. I highly recommend staying at Ca’n La.

“Great stay in a brilliant location.”
+The villa is really spacious and in a great location just a short walk from the centre of Pollença, which is a lovely town full of great restaurants, cafes and shops. The villa and pool were really clean and the pool was a perfect temperature. Other reviews had said that equipment in the kitchen was lacking but we found it fine, with bin liners, dishwasher tablets, kitchen spray etc. There was also a bottle of wine which was a nice touch. The air con in the bedrooms worked very well. Other reviews had mentioned mosquitoes being a problem but we took plug in repellant devices for the bedrooms and didn’t see a single one. Dickinson Villas were great to deal with; really efficient and helpful. They hired parasols for us and arranged a place for us to leave our luggage and have a shower after going to the beach before our late flight home. Would definitely use this agency again. Porto Pollenca was only 15 minutes drive away and Formentor a beautiful 30 minute drive. Recommend this location.
−It needs some more parasols to use with the sunbeds on the terrace by the pool. There is an outdoor table with a parasol in the centre, but this cannot be removed to use without the table, and would not have worked for us as a family of four to enjoy the pool with some shade. It was very hot when we were there and there is no shade by the pool in the afternoons. Dickinson Villas helped us to hire two parasols which were delivered in time for our arrival, but this was an extra cost. The sunbeds are also quite uncomfortable. We had a great stay though; these aren’t big issues.

+Fantastic location quiet surroundings but short walk to wonderful Pollenca, plenty of outside space, excellent pool, nice gardens, plenty of sunbeds and garden furniture. Large villa with good kitchen.
−Wifi was slow and unreliable, would not have wanted to do any work from here. Very limited TV channels - couldn't watch world cup 🙈.

+Nice pool, great view of the town and mountains. quite close to walk into town and it’s only a short 2 minutes on the busy road, so very manageable. Friendly owner who gave us fruit from the tree and brought a fan over for us.
−Very basic kitchen. Bed in the master bedroom was incredibly hard and uncomfortable. Unfortunately there were lots of mosquitos at that time in mallorca so we could use the outside area much. The management company also took a while to respond to enquiries.

“Casa nemodernizata, cu totul invechit, calcata de hoti - nu mergeti aici”
+Vila este amplasata intr-o zona rurala foarte frumoasa, are o gradina cu plante exotice si piscina este exceptionala. Partea de curte este un mare plus, este spatioasa, zona de piscina este intima. Casa este spatioasa, formata din 2 dormitoare cu o baie mare intre ele, care comunica si cu livingul. Mai este un dormitor separat cu baie proprie, care tine mai mult de zona de piscina si de terasa acoperita. Bucataria este spatioasa, are toate facilitatile (cuptor, plita, cuptor cu microunde, cafetiera cu capsule tip nespresso, frigider mare).
−Din pacate, pe cat de frumoasa este curtea si casa, pe atat de putine investitii s-au facut in proprietate. Mobilierul si baile sunt invechite, nu s-a investit nimic in modernizarea vilei. Cea mai mare problema este legata de AC, sunt 2 aparate prezente doar in dormitoare, zona de living, bucatarie si terasa sunt efectiv sere, saune unde nu poti sa stai de caldura, mai ales la temperaturile ridicate din timpul verii. Nu poti sa deschizi nici geamurile ca sa intre aer, sa se faca putin curent, pentru ca geamurile nu au plase de tantari, un mare minus. Mobilierul invechit nu este ok, cearceafurile foarte slab calitative, nu erau din bumbac si aveau o culoare de parca nu ar fi fost spalate, la fel si prosoapele, vechi si imbacsite. Sezlongurile de la psicina murdare si manerele pline de mizerie si lipicioase. Pe langa problemele legate de AC, plasele de tantari si lenjeria de pat si prosoape, am intampinat o problema majora - am fost jefuiti in lipsa noastra, dupa prima noapte de cazare. Ne-au fost furati toti banii cash din casa, un inel si un ceas. Nu era nimic ravasit in casa, nu era nimic spart, toate usile si ferestrele erau incuiate, cineva a intrat cu cheie, de aceea, siguranta

“Eine tolle Villa mit viel Privatsphäre und Ruhe”
+Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dieser Villa und haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Francisco ist ein toller Gastgeber, der am dritten Tag einmal vor Ort war und bei eventuellen Problemen jederzeit erreichbar war. Es gab allerdings keine Probleme. Die Nebenkostenabrechnung für Strom und Heizung lief völlig korrekt ab und uns wurde nach dem Aufenthalt der Rest der Kaution problemlos zurücküberwiesen. Das Grundstück ist wunderbar ruhig gelegen und bietet mit dem großen Garten und dem tollen Privatpool beste Voraussetzungen für einen erholsamen Urlaub. Die Sonnenliegen sind nagelneu und auch schöner, als die auf den Bildern. Das Haus war sehr sauber und insgesamt sehr gut ausgestattet. Besonders die Küche hat uns gefallen: zwar nicht unbedingt neu, aber mit modernem Herd, Spülmaschine, großem Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach, einer Naturstein-Arbeitfläche und mit vielen Töpfen, ausreichend Geschirr wirklich sehr praktisch eingerichtet. Am wichtigsten für uns: die Nespresso-Maschine. Auch die Aufteilung mit drei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern war für uns sehr angenehm. Der schönste Raum für uns war der Wintergarten. Hier haben wir uns die meiste Zeit aufgehalten. Es gab noch ein
−Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt war für uns, dass die Matratze in unserem Doppelbett nicht ganz so bequem war. Da sind wir vielleicht aber auch etwas verwöhnt und anspruchsvoll.
