“Great place and great host”
+The place was very nice and clean, and the bed very comfortable. There was a beautiful view. Miguel is very nice and gave us a tour of their farm. It was a great experience!

“A magical stay with a wonderful view”
+A very magical place run by a wonderful family. You sleep like heaven here. Very clean, safe and lovely base to explore the region from. Can’t wait to be back !

“Great place!”
+The location. Despite the view being covered with cloud it was still a tranquil place...slowly the cloud disappeared and we were able to enjoy the wonderful view. It was lovely watching the birds and seeing toucans in the trees right in front of us.

“Cabana Colibri is a little slice of Heaven in the misty mountains”
+I was totally charmed by the owners, Miguel and Ana, whom I had met at La Jaliscience Mexican Restaurant in La Fortuna. Their warmth, generosity, and kindness were the impetus for me to "come visit" for 3 nights! The bungalow itself is on their home compound finca, so they are very near to assist in any way. The unit is quite pretty, very well constructed and has a user-friendly design. There is a bench on the front "terrace" to sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mist covered valley and mountaintops. The absolute WINNER of this location is the spectacular views through the huge, clear picture windows you can enjoy from the luxe comfort of your bed!
−I believe the mattress is probably a very high-end, maybe Memory Foam, but it was too soft for me. Admittedly, I am a very firm bed person myself, but I'm sure others will revel in it! Also, the kitchenette would benefit from an induction plate in addition to the provided microwave for more cooking options. There is an electric skillet provided, though. Sadly, despite my best efforts I didn't see a single colibri, but it could be due to the time of year I stayed with Miguel and Ana. I feel certain you will have better luck!

“Confort con una vista privilegiada.”
+La ubicación, por la vista hacia el volcán Arenal, parte de la ciudad con sus colinas y las llanuras del norte, es espectacular. Solo que la llegada en auto es un poco complicada por las características angostas de la carretera de ingreso así como el ascenso. No se ofrece desayuno, pero se puede preparar café. Todo bien.
−Debería haber una mesa, quizás desplegable, en el corredor para poder consumir bocadillos o bebidas allí.

“Excelente Alojamiento volveré sin duda alguna.”
+La comidad de la cabaña es increíble, limpia y acogedora. Excelente la atención y el detalle, don Miguel un anfitrión de primera. El paseo por la finca fue la cereza del pastel, las vistas y el ver las famosas ranitas fue genial, como también comer caña de azúcar recién salida de la cosecha. En resumen, ahora nuestro lugar favorito en la zona.
