“Great base for our family stay in Venice”
+Antonina gave us detailed directions, even helping us figure out which vaporetto line to take from the train station. She met us at the property and showed us around. She also left a detailed set of recommendations for local restaurants. The apartment was beautiful! We especially loved the roof deck and its views of Venice--we got up to see sunrise there one morning. We also appreciated the coffee and water stocked in the kitchen. Beds and linens were comfy and the bathroom was also well-appointed with toiletries and robes. The elevator was also a nice plus, so we didn't have to lug our suitcases up the stairs. Antonina even brought us extra fans during a heat wave. The neighborhood was quiet and off-the-beaten path, which we enjoyed.
−It was extremely hot during our stay and the AC had a bit of trouble keeping up on the upstairs floor. But Antonina made a special trip to bring us more fans, which made a big difference.

+This is an amazing space, the roof terrace is very special. The location is great, away from the crowds and yet accessible to all types of transport. You can get a really good feel of Venice just in the local area. Our host was very helpful, was accessible at all times, and provided us with some very helpful information.

“Great space with a beautiful terrace.”
+It was a great location. Quiet, but an easy walk to many places. There was a water bus station fairly close, so getting there with our luggage was easy. The host was very helpful, and check-in was easy. The terrace was lovely, and we enjoyed having a panoramic view of the city.
−The only thing we had a little trouble with was the A/C. The room stayed pretty warm, but I think someone came to work on it while we were out.

“Perfect 3 night stay in venice...apartment provided everything we wanted.”
+Loved the location, 25 minute walk to doge palace, in more of a local part of town which is what we wanted. Very spacious, our kids had the loft to themselves and the rooftop patio provided panoramic views of venice that are certainly unmatched. Host was exceptional.

“Beautifully decorated, spacious apartment in a perfect location!”
+The location is perfect! Close to beautiful restaurants and a grocery store, on the canal with easy walking access to the centre on Venice. We stayed after a cruise - so only had 5 mins to walk to the accommodation from San Basilio cruise Terminal. Our lovely host called us a taxi after our stay which was only a 5 min walk to the taxi rank to go to the Marco Polo airport. The apartment was beautifully decorated with high ceilings and lovely furniture. The apartment is quiet and lovely and warm in winter. We were all loved our stay here - Thank you!

−Could use another mirror upstairs so guests sleeping up there can get ready more conveniently.

“So schön über den Dächern von Venedig - das hat was!”
+Eine sehr große, geräumige Wohnung in attraktiver und doch ruhiger Lage. Qualitativ hochwertig. Die Gastgeberin hielt sogar ein paar Getränke, Kaffeekapseln und Tee bereit, eine liebenswürdige Geste. Sie war auch jederzeit ansprechbar und kulant was unsere um 2 Stunden spätere Abreise betraf. Ausgezeichnetes Bett mit sehr guter Matratze. Die Dachterrasse ist sensationell, auch wenn wir sie nicht genutzt haben. Einzige Schwachstelle: das sehr große Wohnzimmer, das auch mit seinen zwei weiteren Betten als zweites Schlafzimmer dienen kann, liegt im Dachgeschoss, und wer mal nachts zur Toilette möchte, muß die Treppe runter ins erste Wohngeschoß - da bin ich dann schon wach. Aber wir waren nur zu zweit und würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen.
