+Property was very nicely updated. Excellent location just about a 10 minute walk from San Marco plaza and only 3 minutes from the water taxi. Paolo and Julia were very attentive to details. Room is far larger than a typical Italian hotel room, essentially a spacious studio apartment. Great value.
−A little difficult to find initially but typical for most anywhere in Venice.

+We had a really good stay here. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and in an excellent location for exploring Venice. It was only around a 9-minute walk from Rialto Bridge, which made it very easy to get around and meant we were close to a lot of the main areas without needing to travel far every time we went out. The room itself was very nice and had working air-conditioning, which was great during summer. Another big advantage for us was having a washing machine, particularly because we were travelling for several weeks. There isn't a dryer, so clothes need to be air-dried, but having the washing machine at all was extremely useful. One thing people travelling with large or heavy luggage should know is that there are 31 steps up to the apartment. It was manageable for us, but definitely something to be aware of before booking, especially in Venice where you're likely already carrying luggage over bridges and through narrow streets. Paolo was there when we arrived and was very helpful in getting us settled in. He explained how everything worked and made the check-in process easy. We actually had a power outage one evening at around 9pm, but Paolo answered the phone straight a
