“Booking photos vs. reality on a sunny morning.”
+The apartment is in a nice location, and Angelo was helpful and responsive on WhatsApp. We enjoyed our stay in Venice. We appreciated the coffee and little treats provided in the kitchen, including biscuits and bottled water. However, the reality is a little different from what is shown on Booking.
−The apartment is very dark, and you simply cannot spend time there without artificial lighting, even on a sunny day. There are decorations everywhere - a third of them would be more than enough, and perhaps the place would be easier to keep clean and dust-free. One thing that always annoys me is finding an old, very dirty dishwashing sponge. A new one costs next to nothing! It would also be helpful to label the doorbell clearly, so guests don’t accidentally ring the neighbours’ bell in the middle of the night.

−We received 27 emails and notifications from this property owner. Yes. 27. Everything from how to open the key box to the fact that he left three cookies on the table for us. He really emphasized the use and respect of the air fresheners throughout the property….which we found odd….until we got there. We asked to be able to arrive early simply to store our luggage. Venice is challenging enough without a backpack. This was denied. Therefore we explored the city all day and went to the property at 7pm for a quick refresh and change of clothes. We had tickets for an event starting at 8:30pm. We arrived at the property and there was the overwhelmingly sickly sweet syrup of chemical air fresheners permeating the property. There was also no electricity. We contacted the property owner and he gave us instructions and walked us through the fuse box and various attempts to correct the situation in our own. After trying everything he stated that this is a common occurrence in Venice and that he would send an electrician. We noted that two large portable air conditioners were plugged into extension cords and then into the wall socket plus several multi socket outlet cords overloaded and stret

+bestens ausgestattetesl Appartment in ruhiger Lage. Liebevollst und romantisch eingerichtet.Gute Restaurants und Bars in 5min Laufnähe. 10min zum Bahnbof. Rascher Kontakt zum freundlichen landlord via Whatsapp, der jederzeit weiterhilft. Alles in Allem sehr zu empfehlen. Wir werden jedenfalls wieder hier her kommen.
