9.0+We had a really nice stay at the cottage. It was very well equipped, with a nice private garden, which was ideal for our dog. Two minute drive to a local butcher and bakery, and only slightly further to a decent garden centre with a coffee shop on the river. Within easy reach of Whitby, with Scarborough and Saltburn-on-sea just a little further. Only real downside was that the entrance to the drive was on a blind bend. However, the road was far from busy so it didn't really cause an issue.

9.0+Genuinely, one of the best places I have stayed. The little personal touches upon arrival was unbelievable, the board-games, fresh bread loaf, milk and biscuits for a brew, dog bowls and cot for the baby. l can't fault the communication from Lora at all. This quiet, quaint, picturesque cottage had everything! Near to brilliant local amenities and it was only a small drive to Whitby and other surrounding places for pubs and food. The dog found it relaxing and calming with the garden space being enclosed (perfect). I spent most nights just winding down with a beer in the garden enjoying peace and quiet to de-stress. We will be coming back for sure, very happy.

9.0“Absolutely loved staying at Burnside cottage.”
+Burnside cottage is comfortable, clean and fresh, beautifully decorated and furnished. Has a nice enclosed garden for our dog to run around in and set in stunning surroundings by the river. Felt like home and wanted to stay longer, will be booking again.
−Nothing at all.

10.0“A lovely, homely cottage in a peaceful location.”
+The location was perfect for us. Down a quiet lane with a beck running behind the property. It was adjacent to excellent walks and bridle paths.
−A very minor problem was the heating was mainly by storage radiators but this did not detract from the property.

10.0“Great stay!”
+Really well stocked cottage, comfy beds, cosy front room with tonnes of games and literature about the local area. Less than a 10 min drive into Whitby and close to Goathland. Lovely bread, tea, milk and cookies hamper on arrival. Great bakery in village. Thank you for a lovely stay!

9.0“Thankyou for a great stay!”
+Lora was a great host, got the property ready early and left us a lovely selection of bakery items and milk. Great selection of books to read in the living room and games. Lovely set up in the kids room, our daughter loved the toys and books.
−We found the front of the house to be really cold even with boosting the heating so we had the electric fire on most of the time.

10.0“Beautiful cottage”
+Beautiful and spacious cottage in a great location. Had everything one needed including bread, cookies and milk. There were games if you needed them. Also a very useful guide/welcome pack. I would say this cottage was the best place I have stayed in. Shame it was only for a couple of days.
−Leaving!
