“Our new happy place in Pollença”
+Located in the heart of the town so ideally located for restaurants and shops etc. traditional town house that has a contemporary feel downstairs so a good mix and a lovely house to spend time in. The rear yard area was really well thought out with a splash pool, lounge areas and a covered dining/BBQ area which we used a lot. Good wifi coverage and towels and sheets changed regularly to ensure our comfort.
−Middle open room with the open staircase is not really a usable space, as the traditional small chairs and side table are not conducive with a comfortable space. Ideally we’d like a comfy settee and chair in there so there is an alternative space to sit and relax rather than everyone having to be in the living room all the time. Likewise the settee in the tv room was great but the footstool come storage seat was very uncomfortable. Ideally a proper comfy suite chair should be put there so you’re not having 4 adults trying to sit on the settee at the same time. It would enhance the comfort and enjoyment of the guests staying there.

−Nothing to not like. We just had an issue with waste disposal as we weren’t given the bins until later in the week.

+The house was spacious and clean. The location is perfect for a glimpse of the city life and close to the best beaches. We unexpectedly got the towel changed and the house cleaned half way through our stay.

“Great property, noisy nextdoor”
+Property is great, location is great.
−Not an issue with the property exactly, but building work next door early in the morning was not ideal (the only negative). Hopefully they're done soon.

“We had a very pleasant stay at Bugera!”
+Lovely townhouse, comfortable, functional and well equipped. The kitchen is great and the location in the village is just perfect (close to the center but far from the crowd).
−Parking is complicated. The “pool” is very small, anyway it’s good to have it to cool down!

“Lovely property BUT beware of building work next door!”
+The property itself was lovely. Good sized bedrooms (1 double & 2 twins) and plenty of bathroom/shower facilities. Having stayed in another property nearby we knew the location was excellent - easy walk into Pollenca. Didn’t have any problem with parking on the street nearby. Nice plunge pool and outside kitchen area.
−Despite being assured by the agent that the external building work (mentioned by a previous review last year) was completed months ago, this was far from true! Scaffolding overlooking the outside areas meant no privacy at all, with significant noise (banging/drilling/etc) throughout the day from around 8am, plus a builder who seemed the need to shout rather than speak in normal volumes. Therefore there was no relaxing outdoor space available. There is also significant internal building work ongoing meaning lots of banging through the walls too. Having contacted & complained to the agent after seeing the ongoing building work on arrival (again not something you want to have to do on holiday), we did receive some compensation against the original booking cost, however I wouldn’t have paid a penny had I have been told truthfully about the building work next door. I would have stayed somewhere else. As a couple, we paid a premium for this property based upon what was described when it was advertised - what we experienced fell far short of this and ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing break.
