10.0“Excellent self catering cottage.”
+The location was excellent for our needs, 5 minute drive to my Step daughter and 5 minutes to the nearest shops. Also also not far from many larger towns & tourist sites. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner.
−The main bed was a little hard for our preference.

10.0“A restful break at a lovely property in glorious County Down”
+A lovely property with a full range of very well maintained facilities. The owners were charming and very helpful. The property provides a number of guides for guests (fishing, golf, family activites, and more) and a well thought out manual for the things guests need to know. The location is rural with good access to nearby towns, and a lot of things to do locally (e.g. Rademon Estate Distillery, the various walks and town on the coast, Mourne mountains and others). Strangford and Dundrum are well worth a visit for coastal views, and Downpatrick and Saintfield have a range of independent small shops. Worth noting quite a lot of restaurants and pubs either don't open or don't do food at lunchtimes earlier in the week, but there are still plenty that do. Asking the owner for recommendations brings real local knowledge. The main reason for my visit was to get a repair done on an instrument by the nearby Lowden Guitars who were simply fantastic. Building a holiday onto this was inspired, as it turned out. A calm and restful break with lots to see and do - a perfect holiday.
−Nothing.
