“Quiet, clean, comfortable and spacious.”
+This is a lovely property set in a very quiet rural location but only 15 minutes drive from St Andrews. The property was very clean and is very spacious. It is well equipped with utensils, pots and pans to make self catering easy. This is a great base to explore the beautiful Fife area and coast.

“Quiet secluded countryside retreat.”
+Very spacious, clean and comfortable accommodation. It is on a working farm, so that was fun. Very very quiet.
−The WiFi was not working and while the holiday let company did come and provide a replacement WiFi router within 48 hrs of the problem being reported, it worked based on mobile phone signal (which is not good here) and so the internet was intermittent and low speed.

“Perfect.”
+We couldnt have wished for a more comfortable and enjoyable stay and in fact wished we had booked the cottage for longer! Lovely furniture and pictures - home from home. The garden was an added bonus and we enjoyed our early morning walks round the farm. Everyone was so friendly.

“Better than the photos”
+The peace and quiet of location, the super comfy bed and sofas. Cleanliness, choice of drinks and sachets left for our use. Warmth in house
−Bathroom not very modern but was fine. Property needs name plaque as photos on booking.com do not show the rear view of property which is the access point.

+Amazingly well organised with instructions as well as facilities
−There were two wifi codes - each in different folders on the kitchen table Maybe the washing machine instructions could have been clearer: you need to press and hold the on switch.

+Specious, easy to get to
−Everything in the house is very old and smells old. Someone lives there, and when they walk, it’s incredibly loud, like they’re walking over your head.

“A comfortable short stay.”
+Spacious lounge and kitchen.
−A locked adjoining door to the left of the front door to the property (which had guests) allows for you to hear conversations as though the people are sitting beside you. No idea what the room is on the other side but we listened to a loud lengthy phone call and other conversations. It was t a huge disruption to our peace but if we could hear them then I’m sure they could hear us clearly too. Shared garden.
