“Another wonderful stay at The old smithy”
+Our third stay here and it didn’t not fail us. From booking right through to the end of our stay was fantastic. The perfect location to get out and enjoy the coastline and return back to the cosy autumnal evenings with a stop off at the local village pub on the way.

+We arrived not knowing what to expect, what a little piece of heaven it was a snug well throughout place to stay. Everything felt fresh clean and welcoming. The room was gorgeous just enough for 2 adults. The décor was lovely bright and gorgeous the location was fantastic. The room was lovely and warm and fresh milk and lovely cookies were supplied for our arrival. We had a small outside space with lights and seating perfect for a summer night stay and very private. Overall it was a lovely stay we slept well had great showers and made our breakfast in a well equipped room the decor was gorgeous and bright and the hosts were really lovely. We saw all of the other options and I would definitely stay again. Keep up the great work. Location and transport brilliant and the ship inn for a warm welcoming local pub

“Wonderful stay with all mod cons would highly recommend”
+Modern clean and comfortable accommodation. Close to Filey,Bridlington and Scarborough. Lovely little pub at the end of the lane 5 minute walk away.

“Amazing cottage, hosts thought of everything!!”
+Absolutely loved our stay at Blacksmiths cottages, we stayed in The little Smithy, it literally has everything you need, these guys really thought of everything and you can really tell how much effort has been put in to make your stay really like a home from home! Just little things like cleaning supplies, condiments, milk and biscuits left for us. We were so impressed! Its a beautiful little cottage, really modern and stylish, very comfortable! The village was lovely and great base to travel to other parts of the coast, we spent our days out visiting other areas, a car is definitely needed to get you about. Can not fault these guys one bit, the cottage was perfect and hosts very friendly, easy checking in and out service too. 100% recommended, we would happily stay again 😊

−Towel rail didn’t work at all and the cold tap too so we had to ring the owners for help They were very obliging and helpful
