“Great budget place to stay.”
+It was in the old town and every where was walkable. The room also had a kettle and a small fridge with cutlery and plates. The shower was excellent and the mattress was firm.
−No windows so some people might find it claustrophobic and it could be very noisy at night, so ear plugs recommended.

−A review of the karaoke bar… I mean, the apartment. The karaoke bar about 50 meters away provided free nightly entertainment that we definitely did not ask for. Even with the doors and windows closed, we could hear the entire concert from the apartment. Great if you enjoy karaoke from the comfort of your bed, less great if you’re trying to sleep. We don’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay. We also wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values basic safety, as there were no smoke detectors in the apartment, which was a bit concerning for us. That said, there were definitely some positives. The location is great, right in the middle of the old town, and the apartment has a lot of authentic charm, in an old Croatian building, with a modern bathroom. The climatecooler also worked very well, which was much appreciated.

−It was extremely loud at night, since it was down the alley from a restaurant during World Cup games. Not their fault but ear plugs would help.

−Recommend ear plugs if you enjoy sleeping.. room not soundproof at all and there is a bar outside the room that had parties every night. From 9pm-2am people screaming at the door and loud music. Woken up multiple times from noise and barely slept.

“Perfectly located and ideal accommodation to explore Split.”
+Ideal location in the old town of Split, just a short walk up from the bus station. There’s a laundry literally around the corner to the right and a bar two doors down which did not get too rowdy. The heated towel rack was a boon to dry towels etc and the shower strong and responsive. We didn’t even get a chance to watch the TV!
−Although it is three steps down below the street, there is no provision for opening a window but we only used the room as a base to sleep and shower. The kettle was missing and Boris did try to replace it by leaving it outside our door, but of course it ‘walked’ too. My only suggestions for improvement would be for a side table or shelf for the other side of the bed and some shower gel. Additional directions for a supermarket and pharmacy could be helpful as Google Maps can sometimes go awry with the narrow alleys.

“Good location but needs hot water regularly”
+The bed was very comfy and very big. The location was right in the middle of Split. The room had underfloor heating which was nice because the room did get cold on your feet with the tiles.
−Over the three nights we only got a hot shower twice between two of us. The hot water never seemed to stay for long and never built back up on the boiler. Get ready for cold showers if you stay. The bed could have been smaller for the room to allow more space for storage or suitcases. No small shower products left such as shower gel if needed for that first night. With it being in the center expect noise on a night. The place is right behind two bars and next to two eateries.
