“Fantastic family holiday!”
+The location and view are amazing. We enjoyed walks, kayaking, drives and some amazing food in nearby cafes / restaurants. The house was fantastic for a large family get-together- spacious, and well equipped. Lovely log fire on an evening.

“Fantastic view but tired home”

−Aspects of the property could have been more welcoming & comfortable & clean to be honest. To clarify.....the garden side of things although large & grass was cut...the weeds around the property gave the impression of neglect. Sitting out on the garden furniture the weeds growing up between the slabs were up to our ankles & at points our knees. Long grass that had not been strimmed around garden bushes & perimeter wall gave an untidy unkempt feel. The kitchen was a good size & plenty of dishes & cutlery & utensils. However we had to wash the baking trays before use as they were greasy feeling & looked about 20 years old. The oven itself could have been better cleaned. As for the rest of the property although spacious and relatively clean...attention to detail was lacking. The bedding felt past its best in the sense of pillows had not one bit of bounce....very flat which made them feel that they should be replaced. Dust in some corners throughout the house & some cobwebs higher up on the walls in some rooms. The bedding felt like a cheaper polyester/cotton blend rather than all cotton. Towels were good & thick.

“Stunning property, stunning views and a perfect location to switch off from a busy lifestyle and relax!”
+Such a beautiful and very spacious property! We were pleasantly surprised how large the rooms were, the photos do not do it justice. The owners have thought of everything! Well stocked kitchen with everything we could need during our stay. The house is immaculate with a fantastic heating system, the house was lovely and warm (boost function if needed a little extra warmth) the water was constantly hot which was lovely when one of us wanted a bath in the jacuzzi bath. Lots of storage space in the bedrooms to put out clothes away for the week. Great selection of books, games and dvds but to be honest we spent more time enjoying the stunning views! Plenty of walks around and the local village shop had a good stock of basic provisions. There was a larger co-op store an hour away in Gairloch where we stocked up on meals for the week.

+Unforgettable stay with family, a wonderful location and great facilities. The house was very spacious and well equipped, great views. The best trekking paths and trip destinations in all directions. Can not wait to return some day.

+The location is absolutely amazing and the views are unforgettable! The house is unexpectedly big inside we were worried it would be slightly overcrowded but was pleasantly surprised!
−I don’t think there is anything I could put down, I couldn’t fault the property or the owners. We had a power cut and was checked in on and offered additional help if we needed.

+The cottage is very spacious and well laid out. The location is spectacular, sitting beneath the peaks of Benn Alligin, but it's also a great base for exploring the wider Wester Ross area. The cottage is warm and comfortable, and the kitchen is also equipped with all you'll need for your stay. We loved it, and I'm already looking forward to spending another week here in January!
