+Good location, easy check in
−Had no natural lighting because there was one window, smelt damp, again due to not being able to be aired. Sofa bed had no sheet or pillows, just a blanket. Didn't want to cook in kitchen because everything was dirty. Outside had a table and chairs but was surrounded by very high walls and had the neighbours washing hanging in it. The worst thing of all about this apartment was on the last day we saw a huge cockroach, if this had been seen before the day we were due to leave we would of left immediately.!

“Nice little flat in pleasant neighbourhood but it felt more like a money making enterprise rather than a hospitality bus”
+Nicely done little flat in quiet neighbourhood. it has some original features, seemed fully equipped, and was ready - including with table set - on arrival. Water pressure is fantastic and you have immediate hot water.
−On the small side, with a tiny bedroom with no natural light. The top half of the door to the living room can open and you get some light that way, but you need to wave your privacy if you want to open the blinds for some fresh air and light, as window faces directly to the street at ground level. There was a vague smell of dump/smoking, so the flat needed to be aired more. Communication was pleasant, when it happened, but difficult: had to chase for the code for the key box. Also, no response - either via Booking or text - till 36h later (as they had not seen the message) when I requested that the coffee machine is fixed, as it was not working - an easy fix in the end, just needing clearer instructions. If you are looking at saving or having a slow morning by having breakfast in, this would not be the place as responses are slow. Read: any problem you encounter may not be dealt with promptly.

“Great place- especially for Lisbon races”
+This apartment has everything you need for self-catering. I booked thos fir Lisbon half marathon, and it did not disappoint. It was walking distance to the Expo centre to collect race bib and for the busses to get you to the train ststion- about 20mins park. Lovely area with 2 restaurants nearby, weekend only. Very comfortable bed - i slep like a baby..lovely hot shower - much needed after the race. We were able to park as well in front of the flat- bonus.

−Avoid at all costs !! Maybe its better in summertime, but do not go near this apartment from September to May, when Lisbon get humid and rainy. I almost got knocked out by the smell of humidity, there are spots of black mold. It's more like a cave than anything else. I left the apartment after 30 min and booked something else, when i was supposed to stay 2 nights, The owner is still not agreeing to refund me..... The apartment is in no condition for anyone to stay in and breath in the mold....

“fantastico”
+spacious rooms, very niv bathroom, eventhou the bathroom is not conjoint to bedroom, it's a minor effort tot walk to the bathroom, great living space area where you can prepare ypur own breakfast, very nice for myself who doesn't like standaard meals every day.
−I didn't meet the host, which is too bad, but alle the information to check in and room number was provided earlier via email which is a great feature

“Super little pet friendly stopover”
+Super location and a very sweet old property, very clean and plenty of basic essentials: cleaning products, towels, toilet rolls for my stay. Loved the character of the building. Bathroom looks like its had a refresh, pleasing.
−Double bed could do with a topper or new mattress. Lack of air flow through in humid weather due to window at front not being able to be left open, due to noise from very nice neighbouring restaurants and security.

“Very convenient for Lisbon sightseeing”
+Very convenient for accessing the historical centre of Belém and also Lisbon. There is a very handy grocery shop and a really good coffee shop nearby. The apartment also has an interesting history which means many upgrades aren’t possible but adds a charm.
−The apartment has a small courtyard which is meant to be private. However we found the noise from the upstairs apartment did not make the courtyard appealing. Also the towels were very thin. Our host was excellent and made us very comfortable. Parking is an issue, it is free street parking but with a restaurant just a couple of doors up, parking can be a hassle so be prepared to park up to 500 - 600 metres away, often in a different street.

−Alles. Het huis stinkt. Het bed is miserabel.de slaapbank is klaar voor de sloop. Er lopen kakkerlakken rond. Het is er erg bedompt. Ik zou dit niemand aanraden. Ook als het gratis is moet je er niet gaan. Het is een schande dat zoeits verhuurd wordt aan toeristen.
