“Great location to visit Ortiga island.”
+Upon our arrival there was a great deal of building work going on, however very clear directions to the property were sent to us by Pietro. Check in was easy due to the key codes and the keys were waiting inside the apartment for us. The apartment was light and airy. The bed and bedding was of a good quality. Bathroom was also spacious. Apartment was lovely and clean.

“I barely slept and my stay was uncomforable due to the mattress and bed I was sleeping on.”
+Its clean but the balcony needs to be cleaned properly or renovated.
−The owner should put a photo of the building from the outside and I dont think anyone would stay there. The apartment has a side view to the ocean but facing it directly is a very old and dirty building. The bed was so uncomfortable and I barely slept and also mosquitos. I had such a horrible stay and to be honest I paid 115 Euros. I am on a road trip in Sicily and I stayed in cheaper places and hotels which were amazing and worth the money I paid for.

“Excellent apartment for couples”
+The apartment is located in Siracusa, close to the harbor and a short walk away from Ortigia. The apartment was clean, equipped with everything we needed and cozy. The self check in was smooth. The balcony offers a great view over the harbor and Ortigia. We would recommend to stay here and will be happy to come back.

+Location is perfect, near the old town, but far enough(8min walk) in quiet area with view to the sea.
−There were some mosquitos, but you can meet them everywhere, so not a big surprise or problem.

“Ideal location and facilities for a comfortable short stay.”
+The cosy apartment was in an Ideal location to get to where we wanted to go within walking distance. We loved the sunny balcony for breakfast, bottled water in the fridge for our arrival and the use of a coffee machine too. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of space to store clothes in the bedroom and sockets by the bed. The modern bathroom was well equipped with a fabulous shower and bath and even a heated towel rail. Toiletries and a hairdryer were provided which is a bonus! There’s also a lift to take you up to the 4th floor and Pietro is a very welcoming and helpful host with good communication (via Google translate!)
−It was a bit tricky to find but Pietro came and found us walking up the street! There’s no kettle, toaster or microwave and lack of good knives to cut/chop and eat food with and no cereal/pasta bowls. The front door had an amazing security lock but every day we left, the front door to the apartment block was open and also the gate to the flats wasn’t shut properly which is a security issue.

“Very good”
+location next to the port but still in a walking distance to Ortigia and Archeological Park, parking place available . Good choice for a short stay if you are looking for economic type of accomodation - literally provides bed and coffee only. We were a bit disappointed as were looking for a more comfortable stay in a nicer surrounding .
−apartment is located in the block of flats which was not clear to me from the description. you can hear the noise from the other apartments and from the street nearby , balcony very small , From the room you see the opposite building and you have a side view on the sea / port area. Apartment clean but requires a bit of refurbishement (eg we couldnt close the door to the bathroom)

“Nice flat, great host, but little sketchy neighborhood”
+Pietro was super kind and very helpful. The flat is newly rennovated and has everything that's needed. There was even an espresso machine with free coffee for us. The view from the balcony is wonderful. The whole island of Ortigia is in walking distance. On saturdays you can even watch people play kayak polo right from your balcony.
−The flat is very light hearing, meaning that you can hear every step that's made in any floor of the house. This in combination of the neighbour's dog barking constantly every 5 minutes was a little unpleasant. There wasn't enough warm water to fill a bathtub. The bed is a bit short. The balcony is positioned to the east, therefore in january there is only sun on the balcony until 9am in the morning (probably different in other months).

“Great view, free parking, very close to Ortiga”
+Perfect location, only 5min to Ortigia. Free parking, 4th floor with amazing view. Very nice host. Good coffee, everything you need in the kitchen, even salt, pepper and oil of olive! Spacious room, big bed, good shower.
−Too soft bed but this is only our preference. Neighbour's dog was barking all the time and you can hear everything from the corridor. No iron.
