“Lovely property and lovely hosts 😊”
+This was a perfect base for our trip to sing at Ely cathedral. A little too far out to walk each time, but that was no problem as we could park overnight at the property and then use the free car parks during the day. Andy and Amanda were superb hosts, friendly and extremely helpful - we'd certainly book there if we were going to Ely again.
−Our friend reported that the sofa bed was a bit lumpy. Our double bed was very comfortable!

+When we enquired about the local buses our host couldn't have been more helpful. They also supplied little treats and bottles of water, that was very thoughtful as there was a heat wave at the time.

“I would come back, time and money allowing. Seems the more sensible option while staying in the fenlands.”
+It was clean and had some things available for guests to use which were free of charge. It has clearly labelled recycling bins and lots of phone charging points. The hosts were some of the friendliest people I met on my travels.
−Fridge was tiny, would struggle to self cater for more than a couple of days.

“One of the nicest places I’ve stayed for a solo weekend break. Perfect for exploring Ely.”
+Ideally located with a comfortable walk to city centre or access to A10 for exploring further afield. Guest parking space at the property. Well thought out compact accommodation with lovely decor. Photos don’t do it justice. Lots of little extras like tissues, toiletries, drinks & breakfast bars, even toothbrush & paste pack if you forget your own. A Christmas tree & some tasteful decorations were a wonderful surprise. Sufficiently well equipped for quick & convenient self catering for a few days.
−Given it’s a linked extension to the host’s house, there is some noise transference between the two. Also the accommodation’s proximity to the A10 means constant background traffic noise although it does go quiet overnight. What was intrusive though, on a number of occasions during the evenings and once in the middle of the night, was the sound of a car with a sporty exhaust being accelerated hard on the road nearby.

+Everything. Clean, thoughtful provisions like milk, coffee, biscuits etc. in addition there were a couple of cans of coke, a couple of bottles of beer and some bottled water. Owners friendly and welcoming, very clean and modern with everything to hand. Central for our stay.
−The only issue we had was the bed, one side up against the wall, but there is a pull out bed so no problem.
