“Scam.. dont give them your bank card details”
+central.. nice accommodation.. cold bedrooms.. heating did not come on..
−Scam.. beware.. do not book..! I was forced to give them my bank card details.. outside of the booking. com booking.. otherwise they would not give me the lock code to enter the duplex (this was very stressful.. I am in my seventies and the friend with me in eighties)..told it was in case of any breakages.. we left the place spotless and no breakages.. then.. without any warning or explanation.. they took £35 out of my account.. very frightening to think they could take whatever they want from my bank account.. so.. I immediately cancelled my bank card.. took hours but got there in the end.. very dodgy.. when I phoned the phone number on the booking.. she said she could not talk to me as she was in india!! I am amazed the place is still listed on Booking.com.. to whom I will make a formal complaint.. avoid!

+I am a last minute planner. The host was generous and kind and was accommodating with our last minute booking. The flat is very stylishly decorated. I liked the decor and felt at home and at ease. We would happily come and stay there again. It is near the Wye Valley and Puzzlewood and we were very happy to stay there.
−A fan would have been great. With heatwaves becoming a more common feature that will be my only recommendation.

+The property was well laid out and attractively decorated. The host went to great lengths to ensure everything was explained and sorted out parking which was appreciated. The bathroom was very nice.
−The upstairs rooms where very hot. A fan would have been helpful. It would have been great to know how the ice maker worked!

“Unlike Dr Foster, we WILL go there again”
+Location - an excellent base from which to explore near (the quays, city centre and cathedral are all within easy walking distance of the flat) and further afield (Bath, Bristol, the Cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon). Property - spacious! A well equipped kitchen overlooking the green space of the square, an airy lounge with two comfy sofas and a nice big smart telly, two lovely bedrooms with super comfy beds, and a quality bathroom with walk in shower. Parking - there are parking spaces on three sides of the square, so we had no difficulties during our visit.
−1. Wot, no teapot !?! 2. Bring your own dishwasher tablets or washing-up liquid.

“Comfortable accommodation in a perfect location”
+The location is excellent, in a quiet square, close to Gloucester Quays and a good range of restaurants as well as a short walk to the cathedral and the historic city centre. We usually managed to park our car just outside, and the furthest just round the corner. The electronic parking permit made everything easy. Lovely bathroom!
