10.0“Lovely place in Bath”
+This is the 2nd time we have stayed here because of the great location and lovely cozy home. Good size flat, with lots of charm and lovely views. Very central and near everything in Bath. My toddlers loved looking down at all the vehicles from the big window. Coffee, tea and sugar were provided.
−There are a lot of stairs but they are far from the worst stairs we have experienced.

5.0“Nice location but no heating put a dampener on it”
+Location, close to train station and other tourist attractions
−No heating, only came on when we were leaving, didn’t bother me so much but my 83 year old mother-in-law was feeling very cold, tried contacting the property who said they would change it remotely which didn’t make a difference. Too many stairs as well if your mobility isn’t great, which are very steep and narrow, the initial climb up the stairs had no proper hand rail. Bed side lights didn’t work in one of the rooms.

3.0“Never again”
+Relatively close to city centre
−Beds are very small for two adults and the hosts would not accommodate my request for one adult to sleep on the sofa rather than be cramped in the small double bed in the attic In response to my request for an early check in at 3pm, the host were not willing to help by allowing us any earlier than 4pm, unless of course we paid a surcharge There was an unidentified frozen substance in the freezer The carpets and rug were smelly and we found a hair comb and other rubbish behind the furniture No coffee and only two small milk sachets for a 4 people stay? Very poor customer service

6.0“Okay”
+Good location
−The stairs are not suitable for young family with prams or older people with mobility problems. The nearest car park is a 14 min walk and is expensive.

7.0“Charming Apartment with Some Frustration”
+The apartment is situated within a charming Georgian building and has been tastefully decorated. It has plenty of character and is in a good location. We appreciated that maintaining a historic property comes with challenges, and overall we enjoyed our stay. The accommodation has a lot of potential and, with a few improvements, could provide an even better guest experience.
−In the lead-up to our stay, communication felt overly automated and lacked a personal touch. There was also a strong emphasis on strict check-in and check-out procedures, with a 10:00am Sunday departure feeling particularly restrictive. Our arrival was frustrating as the main entrance door would not open. The helpdesk was not especially helpful or reassuring, and we eventually gained access with assistance from a passer-by. We later discovered that leaning firmly against the door whilst turning the key usually solves the problem. Earlier reviews suggest this is an ongoing issue. The apartment would benefit from a more thorough clean, particularly around the single-glazed windows. The blinds also require attention: they are not blackout blinds, one Roman blind was not functioning correctly, and the bathroom would benefit from some form of privacy screening. The bedrooms could also be improved with practical additions such as bedside drawers and a dressing table or desk with a mirror and conveniently located power socket. Whilst none of these issues ruined our stay, they detracted from what could otherwise have been a very good experience.

9.0“Quiet place and not too far from the city centre.”
+Breakfast--- not applicable Location ---good Overall property was clean except I found a few pieces of hair on the bed board. Shower gel not provided.
−Stairs to the bed rooms were narrow and a bit steep. Customers have to be careful especially carrying luggage up to bedroom.

10.0“Excellent property”
+This was a lovely place to spend a few days in Bath! Excellent location, everything was within walking distance. Very pretty flat. The main window in the living area was a big hit for my 2 year old to watch cars. Kitchen was well equipped
−No parking. That’s really the only big thing that was a bit inconvenient. There was a long term parking garage nearby but it made unloading our things and 2 toddlers quite difficult. The stairs were very steep and narrow but that’s pretty typical pretty typical for these places. The 2nd floor had low ceiling which wasn’t a problem for us thankfully but if you’re tall, watch your head.
