“Perfect”
+Location was ideal for us. It was lovely and quiet. Presented beautifully. Very clean with plenty of cleaning products available for the appliances. Lovely food basket with the basics provided and some treats. Bed was super comfortable. Shower was amazing. Communication was very good especially on the day when we arrived much later than we expected.
−Would have been handy to have a map of the immediate area before arriving (similar to the one that is in the info folder on the coffee table). We arrived in the dark, we didn't know where the tower was, which was a landmark we'd been told to look out for, and the sign for the Bothy parking needs to be higher up.

“Barns Bothy”
+Nice cosy cottage in lovely surroundings. Nice to have a starter pack on arrival. Quiet and relaxing.
−The stairs to the bedroom was not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. This is not highlighted in the description on the booking.com site The chair and settee again were too low. The bath was difficult to get in and out of to have a shower and was quite slippy. Again these were due to mobility and age.

−The furnishings in the sitting area were not up to the standard of the rest of the property. The lighting in the sitting room was poor for reading.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a special place”
+Our stay at this cottage exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived it was clear how much care and attention had gone into making it such a welcoming and comfortable place to stay. The cottage itself was an absolute delight, beautifully presented and spotlessly clean throughout. The thoughtful little touches made the experience even more special including a fresh loaf of bread, shortbread, eggs, tea coffee and sugar waiting for us on arrival. These small gestures made me feel instantly at home and added such a warmth to my stay. The location was simply perfect for both my dog and me. We enjoyed wonderful walks and peaceful surroundings that made the whole trip feel truly relaxing and memorable.
−There wasn’t anything that I disliked.

+Clean modern Quaint and beautifully laid out. Loved the mezzanine bedroom area and the space was well thought out for a couple looking to spend time Locally and enjoy walks and countryside around the area. Loved the log burner and courtyard setting. Helpful friendly staff and neighbours lovely too.

“Barns Bothy”
+Staff were excellent, had an issue with heating, and contacted the property manager. The plumber was there in 20mins. fixed issue. Great service.
