“A nice spacious property in the centre of Bakewell.”
+It is quite a spacious apartment, with charming views, surrounded by nature. Located just minutes from the centre of town, yet surprisingly quiet, apart from the calls of ducks and geese. The bathroom was quite the centre piece with a huge scroll top bath.
−We arrived later than expected and didn't find the allocated parking spot, so used the adjacent municipal car park - £12 for an overnight stay. Chase the owner to get the welcome pack well ahead of time, as it has comprehensive instructions.

“Great location and views, shame about the hygiene aspects especially given the premium price.”
+Fantastic location and great there’s a dedicated parking space. Lounge area very spacious and lovely views onto the river. Big plus there’s air con units. Nice little touch of fresh milk, biscuits and teabags.
−Mugs heavily stained, kitchen utensils didn’t seem particularly clean. Bathroom non slip mat disgusting and even worse the severe mould under the bathroom sink (dangerous and not hygienic). Shower has standing water quickly and nowhere to put toiletries in the shower. Bedroom could feel cosier and there’s no where to put your overnight bag apart from the floor. Not ideal that the bin store is right outside and the sound of clanging glass late evening and early morning isn’t great. Small, low cost fixes could make this place excellent!

+So close to the local shops, food places and right next to the river. Beautiful location Very chilled and lounge area is huge. Perfect for watching films in the evening x
−Nothing to dislike. Though if you like your sleep beware there are birds in the river who love to give you an early wake up call (haha)
