“Does not live up to expectations”
+-fridge and oven worked -heating in bedroom was nice -bathroom was clean + heating in bathroom was quick -decoration
−-paid city tax and never received promised bus tickets/Sauerland Karte -poor communication from host -heating in living room worked for total of 10 minutes so it was impossible to eat there due to cold -Silverfish were running around -Cobwebs in bedroom -Bed had weird hole in the middle, uncomfortable - advertised "parking space" was parking on the road -location was not too far from Winterberg but still inconvenient -value for money didn't correspond to what it was -you have to clean what the host puts out wether you use it or not -obviously this isn't a hotel, however, for the amount paid it shouldn't be the guest doing chores

“Lovely apartment, clean, complete and quiet. Friendly host, beautiful area!”
+The host, Steve, was super friendly and helpful. The apartment itself is located on a very quiet street at the edge of the town; 5 minutes walk and you are among trees and green fields. The view from the apartment is great. The neighbours are quiet. The apartment was clean and has all things you could wish for (things for cooking, big fridge and freezer, comfy bed, clean shower, good internet, etc.). I loved how the big windows open all the way to let fresh air in.
−The sofa was a bit hard and uncomfortable. And the street is located on a hill (which I hadn't realized, that was my own fault!). This is no problem at all if you come by car, or if you have healthy legs and don't mind a little workout. If you are there by foot, you need to be aware that it is a little climb (sloped streets / steps) from the centre of town to this street. For me (by foot), it made trips to the supermarket a little harder, but it also meant a lovely green and quiet area.

+Great mountain view from the balcony, well-equipped and modern apartment.
−The owner is very friendly and helpful. However, some things could be explained more clearly upfront, such as the remote control of the heating and the location of the lockbox for the keys.

+Das die Wohnung frei war
−Die Wohnung roch sehr nach Zigarettenrauch. Hinterher hat uns der Vermieter angeschrieben, warum die Wohnung nach Zigarettenrauch riecht. Das konnten wir als Nichtraucher ihm auch nicht erklären. Fanden es sehr schade, nach dem Aufenthalt vom Eigentümer beschuldigt zu werden, in der Wohnung geraucht zu haben! Sowas vermiest einem dann den Aufenthalt gehörig. Das hätte ihm oder der Putzfrau schon vorher, wie uns -direkt beim Betreten der Wohnung- auffallen müssen . Neben dem, das die Wohnung nicht richtig warm wurde und man keinen Parkplatz direkt am Haus hat, werden wir die Wohnung nicht wieder besuchen. Im Gesamtpaket mit der ungünstigen Kommunikation zum Besitzer rückblickend nicht zu empfehlen.

“Super gemütliche und saubere Wohnung! Der Ausblick war auch sehr schön!”
+Die Wohnung war sehr gemütlich und auch einladend vorbereitet. Meine Tochter und ich verbrachten dort sehr schöne und erholsame Tage. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder!

+Es war ruhig,gut ausgestattet e Wohnung ,in der Nähe gleich Möglichkeit Spaziergang zu machen.
−In Bad konnte man nicht richtig die Duschkabine zu machen dasselbe mit Heizung.
