+Well located and equipped with everything you need for a city stay. The host was extremely helpful.
−It does stated that there is no elevator and it's very true the stairwell is steep and narrow, so be prepared to carry your luggage up a few flights of stairs.

+Nice apartment in the vibrant part of Lisbon. Spacious living room and kitchen, stylishly decorated. Clean and with all the necessary facilities. Friendly host.
−It get a bit of street noise over night, so it's not the best option for light sleepers. Two out of three bedrooms on the upper floor are with a very sloped ceiling. The stairs in the building - leading to the apartment, are quite narrow and steep, which is in a way also charming.

+Zelia, the hostess is very friendly and welcpming. We spoke at length about things to do and see. The Apartment was in a central location with easy access to everything that Lisbon has to offer. We were surrounded by bars and restaurants.
−If you do not like noise, this is not for you. The bars are open very late and the revellers can be very noisy. The two small bedrooms are built into the loft with low head room. The stairs to the apartment are very steep, which could be a problem for those that struggle on stairs.

+Nice apartment (like someone's home), good location, great host (Zelia), a few small issues that Zelia took care of right away. Good value for money compared to other apartments in the area.
−A couple of very minor things: it was a bit cold overnight in the apartment during our stay in December (but nothing that a few extra blankets couldn't fix), and there is no oven (though the listing on booking.com says that there is).

+Zelia, our hostess, was there early so we could drop off our luggage before the official check-in time. She was very friendly, welcoming and helpful in giving us recommendations for places to eat and transport information. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very well supplied. Great bakery at the end of the street.
−Location would have been perfect if the Gloria funicular was running. Not the fault of the property obviously but made the trek back a little more difficult with kids.

“Lissabon ist jung, lebendig und aufregend”
+Tolle Lage in der Altstadt. Bushaltestelle in der Nähe. Viele Restaurants und Bars in der Gegend. Persönlicher Empfang auch bei Verspätung.
−Enge steile Treppe mit Gepäck nicht ganz einfach. Am Wochenende viel Lärm von der Straße die dann eine Partymeile ist. Die Betten sind nicht die bequemsten.
