“Excellent base for exploring Split and surroundings”
+It was spacious, comfortable, well equipped (even a washing machine). There was lots of food in the fridge, tea and coffee, bread. Very good location, in the old town. Bakery just round the corner, supermarket close by.
−80 steps from the street to the flat. No lift!

“Enjoyable stay in an excellent location”
+Excellent location in the heart of the old town very near to amenities. Apartment was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Nice views from the apartment, being on the 4th storey.

“Great location in Split”
+the Location is great right next (1 meter) to old town Split. The apartment was as promised and the balcony was wonderful when not in direct sunlight.
−there are stairs 1 flight up. There are restaurants directly below apartment and a nearby main pedestrian way, late at night you hear aan occasional drunk singing loudly. Honestly I was able to handle the few interruptions to my sleep to have such a great location. I could have used ear plugs and slept with no interruption. I would stay here again. One other thing, the smaller bedroom only has a half wall 3 meters tall so you hear everything happening in the kitchen.

+Location GREAT Location right in the Palace walls, small studio kitchen, restaurants everywhere, harbor for boat tours 5 min walk, Uber, taxis, and bus 5 min walk. Owners keep the apartment very clean and I enjoyed how they communicated. Very nice owners who live in the building and available to contact. Both bedrooms twin bed and king bed, have a nice balcony. Both beds were comfortable with nice linens.
−The three restaurants below, their staff congregate below the balcony to smoke. If you keep the balcony doors closed the smoke stays out. Also restaurants below play loud music until 11:49pm but most nights we were so tired we put in ear plugs and slept well.

+Location was ideal for touring Split.
−Terrace was a bit tight and the 79 steps to the 3rd floor are not for the faint hearted. However, we were aware of both before we arrived so it’s not really a negative.

“Fantastic apartment in centre of split”

+We spent 3 nights at Apartments Marmont. The apartment is right in the centre of the main street and very close to the Riva promenade area and the catamarans, ferries, etc. Location is absolutely a 5/5! Neven was super helpful and responsive with all our many questions even before we arrived. His wife gave us so many good tips about the area, the restaurants, and possible day trips. We ended up spending half a day visiting Trogir based on her recommendations and it was a wonderful day there! The apartment was clean and really spacious, with a lovely sitting area and kitchen area. The balcony is lovely too! We really appreciated the washing machine and there was a drying rack to use. The only caution I would have is for anyone with some mobility issues. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, and for North Americans, this really means the 4th floor because in Europe, they have ground, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Since the ground floor is the 1st floor in North America, this means the apartment is on the 4th floor. There are 2 full flights of stairs to get to each floor, so there's a lot of climbing up and down. There's no elevator in the building. The stairs are very well-maintained and not high.

“A very central, secure flat, one double and one single bed. Quiet inside yet very busy outside.”
+Location was excellent, only a short walk to almost everything in the city centre. A very nice balcony. Good double glazing, very good self catering facilities and very comfortable beds.
−Shower cubicle very small. Several lights didn't work (but there were enough to light all areas). While we were fine with a strong smell of cooking meat from downstairs, vegetarians might not be.
