“Stay close to the heart of the city”
+Very clean, quiet, new apartment. Very close to the main points of the city and the sea side. Close to the restaurants and cafes.
−It is located in an old district, so the streets are narrow and hilly. Since we are as a group at our 70s and it was not acceble by taxi, it was a bit difficult to carry our luggage. Taxi was able to approach the building 50m. Ofcourse this is not a minus for the apartment or for the host.

“Beautiful and homey apartment close to everything but amongst the charm of local life.”
+The location was great and walkable to everything, and the accommodations were comfortable and homey. What REALLY stood out was the host (and her sweet neighbors!) Communication was super easy and responsive, and our host went over and above: We had a cooking class scheduled for the day but we had to check-out of the apartment, so the host arranged for our luggage to be held for us at her sweet neighbor Maria's downstairs. She was such a delight (despite not speaking much English!) When I accidentally left my jewelry case in the bedside drawer after checking out, she also went out of her way to check with the cleaning folks and I was able to pick it up later in the day. Now THAT'S incredible service and hospitality! What a joy to stay...
−It was difficult to find (because if you follow navigation, it shows 'you've arrived' but it's a little ambiguous). You have to go through a metal gate to walk to the property - maybe a photo of the entrance would help? But that's just a small ask - we LOVED it here!!!

+We were very happy with our brief stay at Apartment Duje. The location is very convenient to the town centre and the Marjan forest area. We really enjoyed exploring the streets of the Split old town from our home base.

“A lovely and comfortable stay :)”
+Lovely bright airy and beautifully decorated apartment. Very clean and well supplied with all that we needed. The beds were comfortable. The central location was fabulous - the appartment was peaceful and private, yet it was so easy and quick to get into the husstle and busstle of the centre and waterfront. The host was super helpful. Large bathroom. Great functioning air con in the living space which filtered sufficiently through to the bedrooms if the doors were left slightly open.
−Only minor details...... The photograph of the apartment on booking.com shows the upstairs apartment, whereas this is the ground floor apartment below it. Not really a problem but could be made clear. The single beds were a little bit restrictive for tall adults.
